We wanted to experience a cabin, so we chose this site. The location was good and we enjoyed Estes Park. The cabin was clean. It was small, but had a good layout other than the sofa. When it was out you couldn't walk around it. My only complaint was the sofa made into a bed and was extremely uncomfortable. I ended up having to sleep in one of the bunk beds.
We have camped here for many years and enjoyed ourselves. However, the last few years it has not been favorable. The office hours were stated to be open till 7:00 pm, on Friday nights. We stopped by at 5:00 to get ice, and it was closed up. During the 4th of July holiday the pool was locked up at 6:30 pm, on Saturday even though the hours state 8:30. It was nice and sunny when they locked it up. This park used to have live bands, ice cream socials, bingo and many kids activities. Nothing now, it makes you feel like they don't want families staying here. Such a big disappointment, I hope with the new ownership it gets better, this was always our favorite RV campground.
