Well kept provincial park has lots of shaded sites. Situated between 2 lakes with fishing and boating. Some sites are close together and not very private, but most are great. Thirty amp sites are available. Power sites are 1st come 1st served, but non power sites can be reserved. Large spread out campground, so be sure you get the map when checking in or you could get lost. We enjoyed our stay and will return to camp again.
Great campground outside the city. Has great laundry facilities and is close to an 18 hole golf course. Quiet park, friendly staff, well kept grounds, free WiFi although coverage is best closest to office. Sites are small and close together in most of the facility. Fire pits are fair. Most sites are pull through. Long term stays are available by the month and soon to be open year round with full hook ups. We enjoyed our stay very much and will go back if we are going to be in the area again.
This has the potential to be an awesome campground. However, their idea of an electrical hookup is in some cases a skinny little 15 amp extension cord running through the trees. Also, at the time of our stay the ski hill next door was under construction with heavy equipment and trucks starting at 6:30am. The staff was rude and the washrooms/showers weren't clean - there were even beetles in the washrooms. Furthermore, there are no fire pits only the little camp stoves held over from the 70's. Wi-Fi is available, but it'll cost you $$$$ and only for one device, make it count. Won't be coming back!!
