Beautiful sites separated by trellises of grape vines. Owner has beds of beautiful flowers which she sells as well as vegetables from her garden, eggs and chicken. We purchased frozen chicken thighs and breasts from her and they were delicious. As noted below, the Wi-Fi was really strong - best of our trip. Located near golf and vineyards.
Only two sites had sewer hookups and they were already booked. Excellent combination golf and camping rate. They have a nine hole course but we had unlimited all day play on it for 2 people, with cart, and overnight camping for $100.00. Additional night camping was $25.00. Ate dinner in the clubhouse. New owners are very friendly and customer focused.
Extremely well maintained. Owner is very 'hands on' and constantly available. Be aware that you are right on the Trans Canada Hwy so there will be noise from the highway, day and night. For that reason we chose to eat indoors. Very good Wi-Fi connection and also cable TV. Clean laundry facility.
I would have given the campground a higher rating but the spaces are too small. We drive a small 31 ft Class A and tow a compact car. However, long fifth wheel units towed by crew cab trucks blocked the lanes as there was not enough room for them to park in their sites.
The best KOA we have ever stayed in, and also the best campsite in Canada thus far. Not crowded when we were there. Lovely patio with paved stones, patio set, fire pit, and swing on the deluxe site. Extremely well maintained and supervised. Friendly management and staff.
