We are fulltimers and WiFi is very important to us. My only complaint about this campground was the WiFi. It worked great part of the time but was very very slow most of the time. Top dollar campgrounds should have top notch WiFi. Now for the good stuff. This campground is beautiful!! There is a perfect amount of trees for some shade. Everything is top notch and clean. The office and rec room are phenomenal. Grounds are meticulous and sites are spacious (not huge). We didn't eat there, but a restaurant serves food we heard was good. Short drive to subway for trips to Boston. The staff was absolutely wonderful! They have a concierge to assist you with your activities while in the area. Everything except wifi was perfect, otherwise a 10.
We stayed here at the end of season when only about 25% of the campsites are open. The campground was very nice, clean, and quiet. It is conveniently located for sightseeing, shopping, and the beach. The staff was very helpful and offered great info on the area. The wifi was wonderful (our site was close to office); many cable TV channels to chose from. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved this campground. Sites are large and grassy, with wooden decks and trash cans. Wi-Fi and cable are wonderful. The CG is close to everything you could want. They have a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor running throughout the day. It was wonderful!
Clean campground with average size sites. Owners nice and friendly. They give guests a packet of info they put together for visiting and eating in the area. Wi-Fi available only at the rec room. I was disappointed about Wi-Fi at first, but the rec room has a TV and seating areas which make using Wi-Fi comfortable. The facilities are older but adequate. Close to many things to do in the White Mountains.
Campground in very nice setting overlooking a small lake (large pond). Sites are large and grassy. Wi-Fi either worked great (75% of the time) or not at all, no in between. Nice walking trail around lake. Very quiet and relaxing place!
The park has many permanent residents. I only saw a couple other motor homes. It was mostly trailers. We had 50 amp electric, but had problems daily with it blowing the circuit and shutting everything down. The cable didn't work at our site, but when neighbor left we plugged in to his, and it worked. (In fairness to the campground, we didn't report that our cable wasn't working.) We did report the electric and they checked it out and couldn't find any problems. We have never had a problem with electric at any other campground. The owners were nice, but I would not stay here again.
This park is all about kids. Lots of kid friendly activities. The sites are huge with a very natural setting. There was a wide variety of camping styles here Labor Day weekend, including some who camped in their car. Wi-Fi is only available at the lodge or grill and it was very slow. It was not worth $80 per night. I expect a more upscale atmosphere for that price. Won't stay here again.
Loved this CG. The sites are huge with grass and lots of shade trees. The roads and pads are paved. We were in site #160 and had excellent Wi-Fi (the best we've ever had). Office staff told me they were redoing the Wi-Fi system and were having some issues, but we didn't have any problems. The staff was also concerned about accommodating our 40 ft. rig with toad in a 50 ft. site. The sites have so much extra space surrounding them that it we had more than ample room. Cable, water, sewer all excellent. Each site has an attached trash can. The casino offers a 24 hour shuttle from the CG. Highly recommend this campground!
Beautiful park on the lake with awesome pool. The sites are large and some premium sites have free standing large fireplaces. Gorgeous views from site 43. Only complaint is that most of the campground has zero trees and therefore no shade. Could be much more beautiful campground by either leaving trees when building grounds or planting trees if none were there. That's the reason I rated the park an 8. Would camp here again.
This is a brand new park with wonderful bathrooms, showers, laundry room, and large pool. The sites are nice size with lots of trees and shade. Owner is extremely nice and helpful. Smoky Mountain National Park is right out the back gate. We hiked from the campground. Would definitely camp here again!
Very large, clean park. There are two pools and one is heated with fun slides for kids. The sites are very close together. Cable is good. The Wi-Fi was unusable at site #267. Office staff told us they always have Wi-Fi problems.
Nice, well kept park. Bathrooms, showers and laundry room newly redone and clean. Sites in middle area are nicely shaded. The owners work very hard at maintaining the park and are extremely helpful and nice. There are many permanent residents.
Nice campground with lots of shade trees and very woody setting. Sites were nice size; cable TV very clear with good channel selection; wifi was very good on clear days, but unusable on rainy days. Grounds are very close to beautiful hiking in Delaware Water Gap Park. Cons: heavy automobile traffic through campground on weekend from permanent residents.
