Previous posts are accurate. Gravel is well washed so there is no mud even with heavy rain. Was a little put off when all three shower stalls were closed for painting. Realize that it was February and things were slow but possibly painting of the stalls could have been staggered to leave one available. GPS may direct you wrong so call for directions to turn at light instead of going straight. Rate was with Good Sam discount so seemed a little high but included a 10% Hotel Tax although I was positive that I wasn't staying in a Hotel.
We were assigned two side-by-side pull through sites so we could pull our 35' with tow vehicle in diagonally and not disconnect. But another 5' would be about max without overhanging appreciably in the road. The complete pad is paved, along with the road, so it is clean and pets don't track in much dirt. WiFi, cable TV, 50 Amp, water and sewer all worked fine. Pet friendly but no fenced dog park. GPS may send you in the wrong direction after exiting I-5 so call the friendly staff for proper directions. Shower stalls are good sized. Rate is after Good Sam discount.
Haven't found a more dog friendly RV park with it's two separate large fenced dog runs (one for under 25lb, one for over 25lb) with beautiful lawn and a bathing room for dogs. Haven't found a nicer RV park for us with all the amenities. Two separate pools with one being a large lap pool and the other being a splash pool, two large jacuzzi, billiard hall, tennis courts, 1000 person ballroom for entertainment, spotless private showers and the list goes on. At check in, we were presented with a great package of info with maps and lists of needed business's. Fantastic rate was a half off for first timers that ended on 12/31.
Good for an overnight. Wide pull-throughs in the front of the park for overnighters. Pool was covered when we were there. No cable but good over the air reception. The rate cited reflects a Passport America discount, and is cash only. I personally liked the utility hookups up on the concrete pad instead of down in the dirt.
We really like this park. The spa was nice, especially at night for star gazing, and is located near spotless private shower rooms. Our dogs looked forward to taking the dog walk trail to the top of the hill overlooking the park and surrounding area. Great view. All the utilities including cable and Wi-Fi worked great. The artesian fed ponds really do have catch and release fish. The staff and other guests were really friendly. Although safe and secure, maybe a few more lights for walking the dogs at night would be nice. And a little tree trimming along the access roads would ease coming and going.
Great for an overnight. Just south of I10 at exit 212. Front pull-through sites receive light from large light at the store. This is useful for walking dog at night in large gravel field. Quick check in at office. Quite a variety of cactus adjacent to sites. Sites were clean. Hookups were clean. Rate was the PPA rate.
