Friendly staff, easy access on & off the highway, close to the National Park. The pad was gravel and level, nice patio with metal chairs table and had a hammock. It was a nice quiet and peaceful park. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day stay here and I will stay here again. The downsides are the lack of consistent Wi-Fi and the park roads are narrow and a bit steep for big rig or long trailers.
First of all, calling this RV Park a "RV Resort" is a huge stretch of the imagination, if not a down right lie. It is a former KOA that has a white paint scheme and a new name. The pads are gravel, narrow, and short. While the pad was level from side to side, it sloped down both front to back. After 15 minutes of wrangling, I finally got enough room to slide out the slides without hitting my neighbor's slides(after I had the slides out, you could not walk between me and my neighbor, you had to crawl under the slides). I also found the "sweet spot" where my 5th wheel was level front to back without deploying the Lego step blocks. While I heard little traffic noise from the interstate, there was a lot of internal traffic from people who live/stay at the park with loud trucks (the diesels with straight pipes) that made it hard to sleep or enjoy being outside. They supposedly have an age and condition restriction; I guess it did not apply to the 1980s Prowler that had an orange tarp as the roof. I stayed here based on Woodalls 5 star rating, Woodalls was way off, more like 2 stars. While the restrooms are clean and well maintained, the pool is small, the rec room is small, and both were crowded with just a few people. The only positive comments that I have besides clean restrooms is the staff was very friendly. I might stay here as an overnight stop, but this is not a place I would stay at for more than a day.
Nice clean park, very scenic with the lake surrounding the RV park. The staff was very friendly polite and helpful. The sites are paved spacious and perfectly level. Location of water sewer and electric where perfect for my 5th wheel. I loved the gate and security after hours! The downside to this park is the nonexistent Wi-Fi; got a signal, signed in with the code, then it required 45 minutes to download 1 email. (I was parked right next to the router! I switch to my ATT LTE card which does have great signal). The office/store is only opened from 9a-4p during the week and 10a-4p on the weekends. Also, the "cable" is DirecTV which goes out intermittently or will only give you half the channels listed. For the scenic beauty, large level spaces, and friendly staff, I will stay here again. If you require Wi-Fi or need to watch your favorite TV show, you will be sorely disappointed by this RV park.
Friendly service, paved level sites, big rig friendly, and close to all the Opryland attractions/ What is there not to like? Nothing! This is a definite stay-again place. I stayed in the Deluxe Patio Pull-through; great space for the length of the rig (35' + crew cab dually) and width with the quad slides. Plenty of room between neighbors! Yes, the deluxe is the most expensive and it was a holiday weekend, but it was well worth the price for the upgraded furniture that seated six, space around the RV, and location. I love the shuttle that ran between the camp and downtown between 11 AM and midnight. There is also a small cafe on site. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, RV repairs, and a Camping World within a mile of the camp. The bathrooms & showers were immaculate even with the campgrounds totally booked (Memorial Day weekend). Great dog playground and kids playground. The front of the campground does have mild noise from the interstate when I stepped outside, which is to be expected due the location; however, when I walked to the back of the campground, I hardly heard the interstate. Overall, one of the best stays I've ever had in 16 years of RVing!
Most friendly RV park I have been!!! The pads were perfectly level and hookup was a breeze with water, sewer, and electric in the correct location. The cable had plenty of channels, the wifi worked great, and the water pressure was fantastic. It was a beautiful site with the pond to the north of our site and the cows in the pasture east of our site. Very quite and peaceful park (the reviewer that said they heard road noise either reviewed the wrong park or was making up a complaint because I didn't hear the road even sitting outside). The restrooms and showers are undergoing some renovations, however, they we're kept immaculately clean. The people are amazingly courteous and pleasant. I had an issue with my RV so I call the desk for a repairman. He was there very promptly, fixed the issue in less than a minute, and charged an extremely reasonable rate. This is a definite 10/10 and I will stay there again.
Yes, the host is a bit course and direct, but he does show you to your site and guides you to the best place to hookup your RV. We called at 3pm for reservations; we we're suppose to be in at 6pm, but due to a construction delay on -I30, we didn't get in til 7pm. He hung around the office til we got here. The campground takes CASH ONLY. It is right next to the interstate so you will hear some road noise especially outside (I don't really here it in my 5th wheel). The sites are gravel and level. All I had to do was drop the landing gear, hookup, and move out the slides. This is the 4th time I've stayed here. Great overnight place to stay; not a place I'd stay for few days.
