A beautiful state park. Easy drive down to it even with a 40' MH. Sites are large back-ins. No sewer but a dump which is easy to get to. Ocean right at your finger tips or toe tips. Will come back for sure.
Nice campground if you are not a big rig. We were told there is room for us, and the sites are good size but you have a hard time getting to and from them. Lots of children and activities for them. We will not stay again, mainly because of our size
I really could not believe the attitude of this park's owner. First we arrived and someone told my wife, as we were checking in: "Make sure you don't let your dog out here." (while checking in). Okay, then she is on the walkie talkie stating; "They are coming into site, with pet." We arrive at our site and a man is standing there just watching. Didn't think much of this, just thought he admired our MH. Wife gets out hooks up our small dog and starts for the dog pen, which is way in the back. All of a sudden this man comes alive shouting and telling her, "That dog better not go before you get to the pen! Don't use my park as a toilet!" Of course she is in tears and my dog does pee. He doesn't stop yelling. She doesn't say a word just picks up our dog and gets in the MH. Would never stay here again. Will by-pass Gallup altogether. Even if it is his park, have some Christian courtesy. It's a shame since the park does not look too bad. No one should ever be talked to in this manner. Dogs behave better than this man.
