This is a very basic, no frills place to camp for the night - basically a gravel shoulder on a road in the city park. The restrooms/showers were very clean. It's good if you need somewhere to crash at the end of a busy day (that's what we did), but not a place to spend a week.
We had an excellent time in this campground. The staff was very polite and friendly (even the young summer help). The facilities were very clean. We stayed in the Lower Ranch section of the campground and were very pleased with the site - a little morning sun, then shade from roughly 10AM on. The sites are also spaced well apart (40'), giving some breathing room and privacy. The sites are closely surrounded by trees, which makes backing in take a little more time (no big deal). We would definitely stay here again.
