Tons of kids at this campground, which was great! But it was very quiet at night, just people chilling by their fires. It had a nice size pool and hot tub, a jumpy pillow, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and playground. Our dog loved playing with other dogs in the Camp K9. Camp store seemed well stocked, but we only bought wood, ice cream, and candy. You have to get wood from the camp store. There isn't anyone selling it outside the campground in the surrounding area. Roads are paved, which was nice for the kids riding their bikes and scooters. We had a full hookup pull-through site, and it was not a very wide site, but my sister was able to pull her trailer in the opposite direction so we faced each other. I didn't use the bathrooms so I can't comment on their condition. The pool could use more chairs and some umbrellas as it was in full sun. It was right off the highway, but the highway noise wasn't bad, and you could hear an occasional train. The office staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back.
We have been camping here for 7 years. Well maintained and clean campground. There is a playground, sand volleyball, basketball, and a nice pool. Sites up by the pool are on the smaller side, but the ones down by the creek and up on the ridge are pretty big. Bathrooms are clean and the bathrooms on the ridge are newer with acrylic surround showers. They close the bathrooms for an hour 2X/day for cleaning. Staff is friendly. A canoe livery is really close and the campground has a landing that is about 2 hours into the trip, so it's nice to stop at the campground and get lunch, etc. We will be back next year!
It is a very well maintained, clean campground with friendly staff. The camp store was the most complete one I’ve ever seen. There are some seasonal campers in the main camp, but most of the seasonal folks are in a separate camp. The seasonal sites appeared to be newer trailers and sites were well kept. There is a nice sandy beach area and the roped off swimming area has a sandy bottom. We fished down by the boat ramp and caught a couple blue gills. The paddle boats for rent look like they’re from the 60’s/70’s. There are 2 playgrounds. One is a newer plastic structure. The other has metal slide, monkey bars, swings, etc. There is an arcade, mini golf, and driving range, but we didn’t use any of those. It was pretty quiet at night and in the morning, even though there were a lot of families. The sites are pretty narrow, but deep. Some of the sites have a grey water drain, which was a pleasant surprise. An important thing to know is that the water spigot and grey water drain are shared between 2 sites, so depending on which side you are on, you will need long hoses. We will definitely be camping here again.
