I would have rated it higher, but the restaurant was closed on the weekend and sewer hook up was so far back we would have to buy more hose. We didn't hook up to sewer and just used the dump station before we left. We wanted to stay hooked up since we were only staying overnight. There were people not cleaning up after their dog. Also, sites are a bit confusing and an escort would be helpful. Seems like a skeleton crew for a weekend of business, but pleasant staff. Great Wi-Fi. I would come here again.
The staff goes above and beyond to be friendly and make sure you're up on what the park has to offer and tells you all you need to know about tours and bus schedules if you need them. The Grand Tour that left from the RV park was worth every penny. We never had to fight traffic. The tour guides are great as was all the sights we saw in San Antonio. The park is quiet and clean with friendly folks great Wi-Fi and cable. We stayed here two days. Pretty good access from the 1604 loop.
I had a gift certificate so that is what reflects the rate we paid. The staff was very friendly. Felt bad for them as they had done so much work after some of the park had been flooded. This is a very nice older park with plenty for kids to do: big pillow and a small water park next door. Was an additional fee but looks fun. Was not quite open when we camped. Also down the road within walking distance, is prairie dog town. Was just a small viewing area of these fun, furry ground animals. Our overall stay was a very nice one. Oh yes, if trains and highway traffic noise bothers you, this might not be the place for you. But in Montana trains are in most every community, and being from Montana this never bothered us.
Nice friendly folks to check you in very informative on local area attractions. Sites have a strip of grass and a tree nice neighbors. Sites are not level but are concrete pads. Wi-Fi weak. Would stay here again in the future.
Staff very stiff and abrupt. A real nightmare trying to find our street. Very high up on a hill but had good cable and Wi-Fi. Shuttle took over 30 minutes after 2 calls to get there to pick us up to take us to the casino. We did find nonsmoking area in the casino which was nice. Buffet $12.99 a piece and food was so so chicken crust gooey and fatty chicken, peach pie was gross, nice views of the river and other foods we ate were OK, I would highly suggest going somewhere else to eat a nice meal. A lot of detours and construction going on right now. OK for overnight but for long terms would try another place and casino.
This place is small and older but has level sites with great WiFi and a ton of cable TV channels. It's a great place to hole up with the windy weather we had. The owners are down home and very friendly. It's really quiet at night too.
Great game room; friendly staff at this park. The heater in the pool was broken. Had high school girls going around the park begging you for magazine subscriptions. The people were quiet. They gave a nice gift pack of samples and had a huge selection of DVD's, offered the first one for free.
Great Place with a waterfront view. Had a nice site with fire pit and grill. It's quiet but bring your ajax to put around your wheels. Those crazy argentina ants are everywhere and will soon be inside your trailer if not attended to.
Very friendly staff and nice book exchange. This park needs some help. Our electric box was rusty and the lid fell off. It looked as though it had been backed in to several times on this very unlevel site. Was 92 degrees and the pool was closed with tons of leaves in it. This park just needs some TLC to bring it back to the standard that everyone would expect for the Premier Escapee Park.
Stayed here two nights. Has very nice staff and great coffee. There is a shuttle service to the casino and the free breakfast buffet is very good by the way, lots of variety. Won a few bucks in this interesting town.
Lovely quiet park with big, private pull through sites. Has fire rings with grate for grilling those hot dogs. The squirrels come to play and armadillos entertain nearby. Wonderful staff. We stayed here two nights at end of their season.
Good campground we were backed up to a river friendly staff nice level sites. With construction you can only enter the park from one direction and the helicopter rides across the street are noisy. Showers and laundry are not close to any campsite.
This park has crescent shaped sites you just pull into. It was very easy with grass and a picnic table. Was crowded for this time of year but very friendly folks, and good rates. The museum downtown is great. 8 dollars I think, but well worth the price. Takes about 2-3 hours and alot of walking, which was nice.
First time I ever gave a park 10, but it deserves it. Has sparkling bathrooms, showers and laundry room; coffee, tea and hot cocoa free to guests; a great host and a very nice casino. There is a shuttle if you want it and a nice view of the river. The sites are very nice. Park has free Wi-Fi and cable TV.
Nice place to camp, quiet, very nice and a friendly camp host that watches out for everyone. The ground was a little boggy but there are back up sites with concrete pads if you want them. You have to go way into town to get to the fairgrounds.
I love this town. This park was hard to find with Garmin, but I was able to find it with a turn around. The park manager was very nice and allowed us to pick the spot we wanted. Young family across the way, cut through our site all the time, and talked loud through the night because they smoked outside. Park is close to everything. When we came back from dinner, someone had made off with the picnic table from our site. No big deal, just made me feel uneasy. Laundry room was messy and not all of the machines were working. But for the price, it was good for a night or two.
This is an older looking campground with closed in sites, but you will not find nicer people to get you checked in and set up. Super clean bathrooms and laundry. They went out of their way to tell us about local attractions and things to do. A drive-in movie is across the street with 2 screens open 7 nights a week, Cool!
This park is close to Wal-Mart with lots of activities to keep you busy, but most folks come here year after year and do take ownership, but are very friendly folks. The only major reason I marked this park so low is they pack you in like sardines. Our mirrors on our motorhome are 3 inches from a tree and the ladies fence on the other side is touching our slide out (she had to pull it back for us to slide it out !!! It took over 20 minutes of maneuvering to get the motorhome in and we have only one slide. The outside lots aren't so bad.
We found this to be a nice campground: bare bones but clean rest rooms, a nice laundry and a lot of places to walk or bike. Large spaces and the camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Several activities at the clubhouse, a book/puzzle exchange and nice residents living here.
