The only reason this site does not have a 10 is the dirty bathrooms and showers. I guess it could have been an off day when I went to use them. But the camp ground itself is great. very level sites, very friendly staff. The restaurant is what makes this place a return site for me. Best meals I've had on the road after 16 days. You have to go to the restaurant to eat. Great catfish, supper ribs, and I love those apple fritters. WiFi was from the truck stop next door, but very usable from our site. I'd return here.
This is one of the better KOA's and one of a few I would return to. Great site, fun things to do, close to everything. Pancake breakfast is great. Wifi did not work the entire time I was there, but heck I was out most of the time anyway. I'd come back here.
It's an okay campground. No real trees or shade. Gravel sites and roads, typical small width sites. Wifi was great, people were very nice. But this place is small and on a hill near a residential area. So its quiet, but not really close to much. It makes a great overnight stay. Site was not level, and from what I could see, most sites were not. But nothing a leveler or block of wood cold not solve.
Not bad for a KOA. Nice spots, clean campground. comfortable place to stay. We got there late but had no problem finding a spot. The wifi requires a "key" to access it. you can only get the key from the office. it was late so no wifi for us! The place was nice for a koa, I would stop here again.
For a KOA this was not to bad. Nice pool, nice looking area. Easy to find. I found the roads a little narrow but was able to move around them okay in our rig. I thought the sewer connection was a little far from the more common places one puts it. My hose did not reach it. But it may have just been that one site. I'd stay here again if I had to. The price is a little steep, but all KOA's are expensive. I'd say it was a nice average place to stay.
What a great campground. This is without a doubt one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever stayed at. The sites are clean, everything works at the site, and the comfort stations that have laundry and restrooms are super clean and air conditioned. The only reason I did not give them a 10 is the fact that they have no wifi for the campground sites. They have them in the cabins, but not the sites. I'm surprised that Disney has not setup wifi yet for this campground. Even Texas has free wifi in rest areas, so you'd think Disney would have it by now. But aside from that, this is a great camp ground.
I don't know if its because of the hurricane last year, or if its just normally bad. But this place was terrible. We had a dumpy site, and the sewer connection did not work. It overflowed on to the ground. The laundry room is to small and very hot to use. this place has a lot of potential, but needs lots of work. Lots of permanent people here living in trailers older than Henry Ford. There was clearly a lot of damage from the storm, you can still see destroyed trailers here. It was very hard to find off the interstate. If it was night you may as well forget it. Its 11 miles off the beaten path. Perhaps in another year it will have changed and improved. But I don't plan on going back to see.
This is a small RV park, but very clean and very easy to get in and out of. each site had a nice patio and table setup. We were there for the night only. But it was a "comfortable" place you could stay longer! The wifi is very strong but we did not use it. For one days use its $3, but it requires a $4 setup fee. So $7 was to steep to pay for a single night of use. Since every rest area in Texas has free wifi we just used the rest areas the next night for free. I'd stay here again. Nice place.
Nice looking park. However they have way to many signs for rules. The trash was over flowing and it was impossible for me to find the dog run. Most of the spaces are very narrow and allow little to no room. Wifi access was good from our location. If I'm in the area again I would not stay here.
Nice campground, lots of room in our site. Very level sites. Dirt roads and dirt sites, little or no grass. There are shade trees. Pool was clean and so was restrooms. Great store with lots of items. I'd use it as a stop over again sometime.
Very nice location to SF. Great ocean views and sunsets. My only complaint is the sites are very narrow. Its really just a parking lot, and you have no room for chairs or awing setup. However the store and employees were great. Wireless Internet access was the best I'd ever had at a campground. Worked from my MH inside at the table. Very fast and easy to use. If the sites were larger this would be a top notch RV site. But the place was clean, and had good staff. So I'd stay here again if I was in the area.
What a dump. We checked in and right next to our site was the Beverly hillbilly's. They had taken our picnic table and used it for their storage area, our fire ring and commandeered anything else in the area for their use. The sites were very unleveled and even with my level blocks I could not get it level. We gave up and left the campground and moved down the road to a Good Sam site.
Very nice site with room to sit out and enjoy the camp out. Very green sites. Pool was nice, store a little small and stocked okay, but could be better. The wireless internet did not work from our site and I could only get it to work in the game room next to the microwave oven. But then, most KOA WiFi does not work at all, so I guess I it was okay for a KOA.
What a surprise. This was a real nice and restful camp ground. We had a ocean site and it was just wonderful. Room to setup our stuff and enjoy the sites of Hood Canal. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again anytime I'm headed this way.
Nice looking campground and its close to many of the sites in the gorge area. The only complaint I have is: it's right next to the train tracks. The train likes to come through at least twice a night and blow its horn. So its not easy to sleep there.
A nice campground for a major city. Sites are not too narrow, some have grass for your chairs. Pool was large, store was well stocked. Close to the city to go site seeing. Everything you need for the city. The wireless internet does not work from my camp site and I had to take the laptop up to the pool area to use it. But once there it did work fine.
Very nice campground, grass at site, nice store and pool. Site is wide enough to have room to setup chairs and enjoy the outside. My only problem was the wireless internet. Like most KOA's it did not work. I have yet to stay in a KOA where it works as it should. I'd stay here again even without out WiFi access. It's a nice camp ground.
Nice campground, no pull-through sites, but the Wi-Fi does work from most all sites. The shower does not have a mirror in it, so you have to walk around to the bathroom on the other side of the building to do your hair. But the staff was polite, the camp ground clean, and security was great. I'd stay here again if I was headed that way. It would be nice if they had a store on the campground. But there is a convenience store just down the road.
