Easy to get to right off the interstate, however, we were on the interstate side of the park and the noise was pretty loud. Add to that a train, and it wasn't the most peaceful. Owners were nice. We were looking for a nice place close to the Bozeman airport. Campground is not far from groceries. Has WiFi. Sites were a little closer together than other parks we've visited in the Pacific Northwest/West, not a nice place. Could get AT&T phone service. Has a playground and a cean laundry room. Has a TV room with recliners and a LARGE selection of DVDs you can check out. They clean the restrooms from 11am-12.
We could have stayed here forever. The site was shady and peaceful. Close to park and walking trail. Right on river. You feel as if you are driving out into no where, but it served our needs well. Clean. Wifi. No problems maneuvering a 30 footer.
Only two cons for us at this campground. One was the toll you had to pay and the turnabouts. Used this to drive into Seattle. A little far but only did it two days. We were also going to Olympic NP and needed something in the middle. Very clean. Had a nice clubhouse. Had to go to the clubhouse to use WiFi. Nice setting: pool, playground, 30 footer fit. They cleaned the restrooms from 8-9 every morning, which kind of hit our schedule wrong.
Not much to say as it is the only game in town. We got the last of three sites. Were meeting family and going to the ballpark, so we needed something in the area. San Leandro wasn't bad, but it's not somewhere you normally think of camping. Mostly full-timers and people renting RVs for a vacation. No WiFi. Close to food and some shopping. Don't know that this part of town is somewhere I would want to stay for a long period. VERY CLOSE to your neighbor. Some tricky maneuvering in a 30 footer.
We loved this campground. I was flying in to meet my parents. They were able to wait at the camper until I landed and called them and still had to wait for me to pick up luggage. The noise from the planes did not keep us away and it was neat to watch them land. There is a great walking trail, plus the river was right behind us (over a small parking area). Watched kayaks. Had a view of the mountains. Clean. WiFi.
This suited our needs well. Nice walking track. Pleasant setting. Clean laundry and bathrooms. Close to food and groceries. Free WiFi. No problems manuevering 30-ft fifth wheel. Used as a base for Cannon Beach and Columbia River Gorge.
We stayed here for three nights in June while site-seeing the area. The campground was located right on the bay with a walking trail. Has clean laundry and bathrooms. Close for us to take the ferry to San Juan Island and to visit Mount Baker. There was some traffic noise from the highway above the "cheaper" sites. We didn't splurge for a water view but were extremely close to the bay. Had free WiFi.
