Rating at 10+++ is well deserved for this CG.....Terrific amenities, indoor pool and hot tub, paved sites, modern hookups, easy entry and egress friendly and courteous staff. This is the finest CG we have ever seen!!!!
Have stayed here several times in transit from Oregon to Calif. Excellent CG. Friendly staff, paved, level sites, cable TV, hot tub, clean facilities, excellent utilities. Easily accessible sites especially for big rigs. Always a treat to stay here. $$$$ but worth it after a long day of driving.
Exemplary RV park. Level paved sites, easy entry and egress, lovely pool and hot tub, indoors! Wi-Fi not working at the time we stayed, but being upgraded. We have returned several times and will continue to do so.
Easy entry and egress from/to #101. Arrived and left in the dark as we were returning home. Sites a little narrow but level and paved. RR facilities clean. Pool closed. Had trouble with Wi-Fi but did not have a chance to discuss with managers. Very favorable impression so would return again.
Rate is for average for month's stay, including access to BR and electricity. Average daily rate is $38. We have stayed here many times for a month or longer each time. Very friendly owners and the RV park is situated in Morro Bay itself within walking distance to the downtown and the Embarcadero. Not many extra amenities, but Wi-Fi is superb! Will definitely return.
Would rate this RV park as a 10 but much too expensive vis-a-vis other comparable parks. Wi-Fi marginal. Level sites, some not paved. Clean rest rooms. Easy entry and egress. Will not likely return unless charges become more reasonable.
Easy access and egress even for big rigs. Wide, tidy, level gravel sites with grass on each side. Excellent utilities including Wi-Fi . Traffic noise somewhat of an issue but not that annoying. Friendly staff. Great for overnight.
Wonderful CG! Very accommodating entrance and egress. Roomy sites; gravel base; reasonably level, excellent utilities, Wi-Fi worked very well. Restrooms were spacious and very clean, very friendly staff, 4 miles to West entrance of Glacier NP. Stayed here 2 nights, would return in a heartbeat.
Most efficient and gracious staff we have ever encountered. The sites were level, packed gravel, spacious, grassed sides, and with excellent hook-ups. RR's were clean and new. Town was a treat to explore, and proximate to Yellowstone. We stayed here three total nights-in and out of the park. Will definitely return!
Level, paved and clean sites. Restrooms seem overburdened-this is a very large and busy CG. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lots of train horns but we like trains. Close to airport and downtown. Wi-Fi works well, but cable TV is pitiful. Lots of construction on entry and egress, but negotiable. We have stayed here twice in the last two weeks for a total of 5 nights.
CG roads and sites were mostly dirt with some gravel, thus very dusty. Utilities were reliable including excellent Wi-Fi. RR's were new. Just outside north entrance to YNP. Quaint town. Staff was terse and a little unfriendly: perhaps just having a bad day. Next time, for the price, just might stay in the park at Mammoth.
Sites reasonably level with dirt and base. Scratched the truck and trailer on entry. Many branches need trimmed along very narrow roads. Utilities OK. No Wi-Fi except in cafe and laundromat areas. Showers an extra charge!! ( almost $4/day) Location is OK for the immediate environs. About 30+miles to Jackson Hole. Not a great value for a campground. We stayed here three nights.
This is an RV park against which all others should be measured. With the Ambassador RV Resort we definitely have one of the finest RV parks we have ever visited. Everything worked perfectly-especially the Wi-Fi. The swimming pool was delightful. Hot tub & sauna are available. Very large rec. room for all kinds of activities. Friendly staff. Very large, spacious and level sites with grass islands between sites. Where was the last RV campground when you saw the sewer dump site more than 12' away from the potable water hose connection? These folks really have their collective act together. We will definitely return.
Entry roads potholed and dusty. Roads within park very dusty. Sites- grass/gravel combo, a little uneven, but sufficiently spacious. Utilities reliable except for Wi-Fi which was spotty at best. CG had neighboring redwood paths. Would definitely return here again because it is the best CG in the Crescent City area and close to numerous redwood forests. Overall, this CG could benefit from some renovations. Stayed here 3 nights.
Sites are paved and long with paved entry roads. Beautiful tree lined sites, lovely environs. Utilities OK. No cable TV. Could not connect with their Direct TV. Rest room facilities marginal, but clean. No Wi-Fi or phone service. Friendly check-in. Too many published "rules". Nearby Prospect a quiet and lovely town with great dining. Great access to Crater Lake, which is 35 miles away.
Beautiful back-in site on the water front. Superb utilities including Wi-Fi. Paved entrances, roads and sites. Grassy lanes between sites. Crowded with so many campers in this CG and surrounding CG's. Would definitely return.
Level, spacious, graveled sites. VERY quiet! Easy access to Stephenson and environs. Excellent Wi-Fi. Beautiful tent sites for those who would use tents. Reliable utilities. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely return!!
Very quiet park within easy walk to a beautiful beach. Friendly staff. Shower and restroom facilities are adequate and clean but limited for a park this size. Sites are gravel and reasonably level. Reliable utilities.
Easy access from Ca. # 1. Sites are sufficiently generous, gravel covered and level. Next to the Ocean!!! Park designed for easy access to walk on the beach. Over Memorial Day weekend, they were booked!. Popular site! Very comfortable campground for short or more lengthy stays. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Will definitely return.
Very interesting drive to reach this campground from the Fresno area because of the elevation (6800') and the serpentine roads on the last 60 miles, but particularly the last 17 miles. Driving slowly and defensively a must but worth the rewards of the area. Hiking, fishing and exploring are readily available. Could be very crowded in the Summer. Sites are generous and gravel covered. A more rustic feel to this campground. No cell or Wi-Fi. Would definitely return.
Somewhat narrow lanes and sites, which were not level but negotiable, even by some large fivers and motorhomes. Very clean campground, swimming pool for the grand-kids, nearby walking trails, and nestled in a valley near Morro Bay. Wi-Fi very spotty and weak, but cable TV company working on problem as we left. Stayed 6 nights. Would return for certain if the Wi-Fi problem is resolved. (Cell reception too weak for tethering of computer to cell phone). Very hospitable and accommodating staff.
What a wonderful campground! Generous sites, petting zoo for the grand-kids, swimming pool, play sets with slides, etc., shaded sites, lovely country like atmosphere. Only glitch is the somewhat narrow entry, but all in all not a problem. Would definitely stay here again!
Sites are gravel and fairly level with easy pull-through lanes. Reasonable access from # 101, but as another reviewer stated: " this park has seen better days". Overall, not a bad park for an overnight stay in Crescent City. Only beef: they locked the restrooms at 7pm and did not unlock them until 8am. We were gone by that time.
It seems difficult to award a "perfect" 10 to any campground, but Seven Feathers comes very close to that rating. Beautiful setting in the valley, multiple scenic views, shuttle to and from the Casino if you wish, and amenities galore including a swimming pool and hot tub. Without a doubt we will return!
Gravel landscape. Sites are easily accessible. Beach nearby. Located next to high school so lots of related traffic. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Seems relatively expensive for amenities received. Very close to Rt #1, thus very convenient stopover. Have stayed here before and will return for brief stays.
Sites are dusty and minimal gravel. Entry and exit acceptable. No cable. More like a rugged state park than an RV park worth $33.00. However, it is close to downtown Napa with great restaurants and with easy access to the "wine tasting tour loop".
Excellent access to Redwoods. Just off 101 on the Avenue of the Giants, (2 mi south of the Pepperwood exit). RV park is spacious, well groomed, easy egress and entry. Verizon didn't work, but new tower is being installed nearby. Wi-Fi a little spotty. No cable, but with judicious positioning of unit, Satellite worked well for football! No showers. Very accommodating staff. Visited nearby Fer wood and environs. Would return here in a heartbeat
Location of park is ideal for visiting the Redwoods in this part of Northern California. Close to Ranger station and access to many trails through the magnificent Redwoods. However the park is somewhat run down. (A recurrent RV'er stated that the park used to be pristine). Rest room facilities are adequate. Grounds need lots of attention. Sites are gravel. We were at the park periphery and WiFi did not work for us but worked elsewhere. Would probably return because of terrific access to Redwoods.
Paved sites. Beautiful modern pole connections. Best cable connection ever experienced. Well landscaped and maintained. Beautiful shower/restroom facilities with heated floors! Easy entrance and egress. Close to Sisters and Bend for shopping. Only gripe would be a 'deposit' for use of hot tub?! Would definitely return here again. Probably deserves an 8.5 (we are very stingy with our 10's!) A little on the pricey side.
Very clean RV campground. Sites are somewhat crowded but negotiable. Concrete, level pads with clean hookups. Complimentary continental breakfast; large hot tub, dog runs, easy entrance and egress. Adjacent to busy Hwy 101; within walking distance of ocean beaches; close to outlet malls and wonderful seafood options. Stayed here four days. Definitely would return.
Very nice RV stopover, close to I-5. Although it's a little noisy next to the freeway, but very tolerable. Has concrete sites, very clean restroom facilitates, and landscaped grounds. Beautiful environs.
Sites are concrete slabs, and roadways are paved. Growing shrubs provide some modicum of privacy between sites. Lower areas, closer to #101, there is road noise. Higher on the grounds, the view of the ocean is fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. Swimming pool and hot tub were terrific. Very expensive by most standards, most likely related to its proximity to Santa Barbara and LA. Not quite a "ten" but close. Very accommodating and courteous personnel.
This four day stay represents a return visit. Unfortunately we were crammed against a perimeter fence in a slot with very little room. We had to park our truck within inches of our entry step. The RV park was full thus crowded. Cable TV reception adequate and barely satisfactory. Rest rooms and showers clean considering the intense traffic by campers. Beach walks a plus. Other amenities very acceptable. Town has many restaurants and within an easy walk. Lots of noise but lots of kiddies and young families. Fire rings a risk: too close to the units. Overall, campground best suited for young families with children.
We stayed the months of June and July at this site. Access to city of Morro Bay and environs was very convenient. Easy stroll to waterfront and dining, as well as downtown. The weather was awesome. Park has accommodating and gracious hosts. Restroom facilities were always clean. Most sites are bricked or concrete platforms and very impressive. We would not hesitate to return.
Lovely campground with very private camping slots created by well trimmed natural vegetation. Quiet, private and serene location only about 0.3 mile to the beach, which was magnificent. Restroom facilities are marginal for a campground with so many slots, but satisfactory. Very friendly staff. Sea Lion Caves nearby and city of Florence for exploring. Would return without a doubt.
