Friendly staff, conveniently located to Bryce Canyon NP. They have a shuttle stop at front of campground, unless you go into park very early this the way to go. The shuttles come by often and you can get a seat, much better than having to park your car at each view point. There is a info booth near campground office. Sites are pull throughs with full hookups, tent sites with no hookups. We stayed in the back area so our satellite dish could be set up. Site was very wide and level. They have a small convenience store, pool and a clean large laundry. Wifi was a bit slow, but it did work at our site, much faster the closer to front of campground. It is expensive compared to Bryce, but you do get all the amenities! We would stay here again.
This is a fantastic state park campground. Located in a area surrounded by beautiful rock formations. I would suggest booking early online if you want full hookups. The road and sites are firm unpaved. Full hookup sites were pull through, good length, width and level. Some of the other sites are electric and water while others have nothing. No wifi or phone service at park. The area is beautiful and worth spending several days here. It is nine miles back to Canonville , but groceries, gas and restaurants are a few miles more in Tropic. This park is not as well known as others in the area so you don't have to deal with large crowds. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice staff. Road and sites are compacted dirt with gravel over it, no dust. Each site has an area of green grass, table and they are very wide. I did notice that back-ins are narrower and can be found at back of park. Tent sites have a privacy fence on either side of them. The office has a small convenience store and gift shop. The management offers a BBQ meal at night with choices of meat and a variety of sides and drink, did not try but others staying here did. There are three laundry rooms at different areas of park, the one near us had two washers and dryers. Sites on west side of park have nice view plus if you want to set up satellite this is the only area that you can get through trees. We stayed here a week and would come back here again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Park is located at the south end of town. Quiet park, well maintained, the gravel roads and sites are level and wide with a tall large trees. Branches are high up and are not a problem with pullouts. Each site has a small pad and a green area of grass with a table. We asked for a site to set up our satellite, got great reception. Nice laundry facilities and restrooms. We stayed a week. This is a great location to stay and spend time looking at a variety of parks and scenic routes, check out the visitor center for info. Our nightly rate is Passport America. We would stay here again.
Great place to stay and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly. Road and sites are asphalt and level. Each site has a adobe looking shelter with a table. The sites are wide and can accommodate big rigs with slide-outs on two sides. Water and electric only. There are both pull-throughs and back-ins. if you call and reserve ahead there is a 10 dollar fee extra. Hwy 550 is nearby but the noise was light. Passport America is Nov to Mar. Otherwise sites are as I mentioned. We really liked it here and would stay again!
Friendly staff. Roads and sites are compacted dirt. Not much to look at. Sites are set up in a haphazard way. Call ahead if you want full hookups since there are not that many. We got here around one and checkout is 2 pm, our site was not available so we took a back-in site, checked out their wifi; connection was very weak. The price is too high for the quality of the park. We are not going to stay here again.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay for a few day. Site was gravel and level, lots of room for slide out. Some sites are set up with small chain link yards that you can reserve ahead of time and let your dog run loose in while you are there. Some full time RV's but the place is clean and quiet. Big Texan Steak Ranch restaurant down the street is great they will come pick you up and bring you back to your site, just call office or restaurant. Great place to stay if you are going to Palo Duro canyon. We will stay here again if in area.
Friendly owners, very helpful. Easy to find. Road was paved, while sites were compacted gravel. The park is at the top of a mountain. They have cut away enough of the trees that you can look down at the tree tops below--very pretty. Sites are both pull through or back-in. They are wide enough to accommodate large rigs( there was a large RV with pull outs on both sides in a pull through.). You can get great satellite reception or they have cable hookups. The laundry was clean and reasonable; it was also air conditioned! The temperature outside was in the 100's, so this was very nice. Easy drive to Hot Springs. We stayed 5 nights and would stay here again.
Very friendly staff. Roads are compact rock. Sites are level gravel pull through sites. Some shade trees and grass between sites, wide enough for big rigs. Nice place to stay. We were here for over night camping in a travel trailer. Would come back again.
Very nice owners, they said they have had it one year. Updated the wiring, the laundry room has two washer/dryers. Checked out washrooms, clean. The showers have a stall and separate area to dress. There are about 20 pull-throughs, about half have some shade trees. They have 19 tv channels and wifi. Park has compact gravel and sites are level. The park is several blocks from freeway and just has a faint sound of traffic. The owner are obviously making improvements. We stayed here one night and would come back again.
Great place for overnight stay. In the winter they have a lot of snowbirds. The sites are level and are fairly wide. No one is in the office; you can't call ahead, but there is a care taker that will help when you arrive. Full hookups, some pull-throughs, most back-in. They allow pets and at the back of park is a nice area for walking. We have stayed here before and will come back again!
Nice staff. Park has paved road and back-in gravel pads. The sites are long enough for big rigs, some sites are wide enough to accommodate units with bump-out on two sides. Close to ferry that takes you to San Francisco, lots of places to go locally. Good Wi-Fi and you can use satellite. They have a big laundry. Out back of park is an estuary, this has a trail for pet walks. Park is a small lot in city, the freeway runs out front. The sound of cars did not bother us, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Very nice staff. Clean park, compact gravel roads and sites. We stayed in a pull through. We asked for a site that you could access satellite. Ask when you make reservation; some sites are blocked by trees. They offer about 6 cable channels, Wi-fi works well. Quiet in winter; in summer they had a lot of family oriented activities. I felt winter price was high; almost all activities were closed down. I would stay here again.
The owners of this park are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Small park with a small grocery store and propane for sale. The roads are asphalt. Pull through sites are long with gravel, great shade trees. There is a small cement pad with a picnic table at the sites. Ours was level. Free Wi-Fi works well. We were able to use are satellite dish although they do have cable. They have a small pool and a play ground area for kids. There are some permanent residents, they take care of their sites, have potted plant etc. The park is off Hwy 5 and you can hear trucks, cars as they go by. Not real noisy as there are not that many. Quiet , pleasant atmosphere, we stayed three days and would come back again.
This campground is good for an overnight stay. Sites are pull through both gravel and some cement. We stayed in a gravel site that was level. Although this is not a super well maintained campground it was clean. Did not look at restrooms, but laundry was clean. They have unfenced grassy pet area. All the sites are 50 amp, the office loaned us a adapter. We would stay here again.
Great place to stay. They have full hook-ups and electric and water. Full hook-up sites were pull throughs. Nice park with mule deer and javelina. Good idea to have reservations. Lots of hiking trails. Beware: no cell phone signal! You can go to Fort Davis. Go eat at Mary Lou. Thursday is fried chicken and Friday is catfish all you can eat!! Stayed here for 5 days, would do so again.
Excellent place to stay, friendly staff, centrally located in town. All sites are pull-through, small gravel, level. Roads are paved asphalt. They have a large laundry facility. The restrooms are individual, with a toilet and shower, lots of room. They have a very nice community center. Some of the residents are snow birds, but they keep their sites well maintained and even landscaped. You get full hookups with a good selection of cable TV and excellent Wi-Fi. Dog friendly, they even have a fenced in area for them to play. This is a great place to stay while visiting Frederickburg. We would come back again.
Potters creek is an excellent place to come and relax. Located by a lake you can bring a boat and fish or walk the dogs! Paved roads, sites are water and electric. The sites have small gravel, level and there is a covered table. Some sites have shade, but most do not. I like to camp next to the lake. The water level has gone down still a great place to come. The grounds and restrooms are well kept and staff is extremely friendly. Easy to get out with a satellite dish. COE campground are always reasonable and well kept, good idea to book a reservation well ahead of time.
Price reflects 3 persons. This is a good place for a one night stay. The restrooms and laundry are clean. Road and sites are gravel. Our site was level. There are a number of permanent residents, the park was quiet and people take care of their sites. The place is old and shows its age.
Very friendly owners, friendly and work hard to maintain a quiet and clean resort. Road and sites are are gravel. All sites were level, pull throughs and wide. Nice shade comes from Cypress trees. Wi-Fi is slow but works. Very clean modern restrooms and laundry. The lake is pretty and you can rent paddle boats or small boats to fish or play! This is an excellent place to stay. We have been here before and will be back again.
Stayed here before, the woman in the office is very friendly. Price reflects Passport American price. This is a great overnight stop. The sites are pull-through and level. Road and sites are gravel, grass has grown into the gravel, but is cut short. Cute duck pond on property. There are some full timers, the place is kept clean and is quiet. The park is several blocks away from the freeway so it is quiet from traffic noise. Dog friendly, no dog walk but you can walk the dogs around the park. Wi-Fi is available for a small fee. They have propane for sale. We would stay here again.
This is a lovely park. The gentleman at the check-in office was very friendly. The park has shady trees and some sites are near the lake. The sites are all fairly long and are back-ins. Smooth asphalt road and level sites, easy to maneuver. The sites are wide for bump outs, but there is very little space outside the RV to sit or have a table. There is a nice path around the lake to walk, as well as some other trails. Spent a night, but would come back and stay longer it is so nice here.
This is a very nice campground. Very clean and well maintained. Staff is super friendly. The road is gravel and the site pads are cement [level] with a small grass area next to it. Sites are pull throughs and very wide. The free Wi-Fi works great! They have a pet park and are very pet friendly. This is a small park and filled up fast, so I would call for reservations.
We came for the flea market and finding a place to stay was hard, Best Western had sites available. This place is definitely a last choice place, it is a stripe of sites behind the hotel. The site pads are asphalt and although ours was level it was old, not in great shape. There is grass (more like weeds) next to the site and a very warped table. The sites are wide and they do have some long one for big rigs. The free Wi-Fi works well. Overall the RV park need a lot of tender loving care, but the reasonable rate makes it good for an over night stay.
The people in the office were very friendly. Large RV park with gravel roads and sites. Free Wi-Fi works great. Next to a lake, would be very pretty if there was not a drought, lake is very low and grass in park is dry. Sites are wide and level. The park is about 5 miles for I-20, makes it very quiet! Great for an overnight stay.
Small RV Park. A very nice lady checked us in, very friendly. The site width was adequate. The site is gravel and was level. The road is packed dirt, wide enough to maneuver. Wi-Fi worked well enough was slow, due to our location in the park. We were parked in the back area, made it a bit quieter from the Highway. They are pet friendly, have a little area for the dogs to play. Overall the place is clean and cared for, very reasonable rates. Nothing fancy, good for an overnight stay.
This is a very rustic RV park. There are full hookups, 50 amps, they will loan you a converter with a refundable deposit. The sites are not super wide, with asphalt pad to park on and there is a table with a cover over it. The roads are gravel. There is a pine tree next to each site. WiFi works fairly well. It has all the basic needs but the place is not much to look at. The real advantage is the RV park is close to Carlsbad cavern (7 miles). Good place to stay for a night. We stayed here in a travel trailer.
This is a nice RV park, the staff are very friendly and courteous. At the front of the park they have a number of old renovated classic trailer, they rent them out, fun to look at. There is a pool, was clean. Gravel roads and pull-throughs, they are level, wide and have table for your use. The roads are wide and it's easy to drive in and out. This is our second time here, would come back again.
The Park is easy to find and has paved roads and very long gravel pull through sites with a cement slab next to it. The trees are small and not good for shade. There is a clubhouse. We were parked on the last road, the "doggie" area. You can walk the dogs along the back of the park, their dog walk. It was okay to walk them on the road too. Very plain, but for a overnight stop it was okay.
The park is very well cared for. Paved roads and gravel sites. Sites are wide and will take any size RV. Wi-Fi works great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Was given a great map/brochure of campground and area. Off of freeway enough that it is quiet. Great place for pets!, but not really a place for kids (no place to play). Would do so again.
Great place to stay while in this area. Gravel roads and level sites, excellent laundry facilities. The staff here is super polite and friendly. We had good Wi-Fi reception and if you ask ahead they can put you in a site to set up satellite. The park is shaded by lovely Cypress trees. They have a small lake that is very pretty. Near stores and food. Excellent weekly rate ($140 when we stayed) I will definitely stay here again.
This campground like all COE sites is well maintained. All sites are electrical and water, there is a dump station. Some sites have great views of the water, others are setup in shade. Great for big rigs to tents! The sites and road are paved and level. Great people running the office. You can fish on the lake. This campground is lovely and quiet, we stay here any time we are near Atlanta.
Cherryhill is an excellent place to stay if you are going to D.C. The park is convenient to downtown. There is a bus stop at the entrance and tickets are available at office for bus and Metro subway. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they gave us great information on going to D.C.. Our site was gravel and level, we found it to be nicely wide. All the roads in the park are paved. The garbage and recycling bins are conveniently located throughout the park. Pet friendly. The park is conveniently right off I-90, we heard a little traffic noise from our site, not enough to bother us. Great pool and playground for the kids. Super laundry facilities. Nice cafe. Toilets/shower rooms were nice and clean. During our stay we used the Mobile RV repair service listed in the park's brochure. They're fast and did a good job. We stayed here nine days and highly recommend the park.
This park is an oasis, you camp among lovely tall pine trees that have been thinned out just perfectly, leaving a nice shady canopy with some light coming in. Nice roomy sites with full hookups are located with a great view of a salt marsh. Laundry is available and convenient garbage receptacles were located every few sites. As a "adult" campground" it allows one to escape the crowds and noise of the beach resorts, making this a great place to relax. Dog friendly! Owners are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make this place a beautiful campground to visit. I strongly suggest you stay here if in the area, you won't be let down.
The staff and owner here are very friendly and helpful. We are in a travel trailer however we asked to stay in the big rig area at the bottom of a hill, these sites have full hookups. Here you could get WiFi reception and set up a satellite if you wanted TV. Dogs are welcome. There is a nice view of a marsh across from the park. Some sites have trees, most did not. The sites in all the park were not level. If you camp up above you need a smaller trailer or tent. It is pretty in the upper campground. There are a lot of trees and nice granitic rocks. In the upper campground the paved road winds around, it is broken up by roots in some places, you CANNOT take a big rig up here. We stayed 4 days and would come back again. This is a no frills campground.
The best part of this place is the very efficient ferry that takes you across small bay to the campground. It runs 24/7 and can handle up to large rigs. Request a site near the water. All of these sites are used by seasonal campers. Most of the park is seasonal campers. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Site we were in was level with full hookups. Wi-fi only available at office. No cable; most sites you cannot use satellite and there are only three local channels available. Beach is small. At back of park is a very pretty marsh. From beach you can view the bay. We stayed here four days. Park is quiet and views are pretty.
Efficient staff. Sites ranged from full shade (tents, small tent trailers) to partial shade and full sun. Full hookups were in one loop, all were in partial shade. If you had just electric and water, a honey bucket wagon was available for a fee. Wi-fi was available if you sat near office. Laundry was kept clean. Dogs were welcome. We stayed 5 days; thought the park was above average. Very busy in summer; you should call well in advance to get a site.
Nice staff. Gravel roads and sites. Sites were not level, there was grass next to the site and it was fairly wide. Well cared for campground. We stayed in an area with small trees so we could use satellite, no cable TV was available. Quiet: about 1 1/2 miles from freeway, easy to find. I would stay here again for a short stay.
Very nice campground, friendly staff. Easy to find from the freeway. They had a nice enclosed pool area. Great laundry and restrooms. Cable TV with lots of channels. Large gravel sites. The sites had grass on side and fire pits. Most were shaded but there was an area in the sun. Many spaces for large rigs. Close to town. Would highly recommend this campground.
People in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. The laundry room was clean and the machines work well (4 washers and dryers). There is even an enclosed swimming pool. They allow dogs. The pet area is just outside the gate, a grassy area, they provided "doggie bags". Included in price are thirty cable channels and wifi, which work great. My only complaint is the "parking lot" look of the park. There are some trees and plants near office, but this is not the kind of place you would sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere! The park was quiet.
