Nice small campground. My site was right on the Clearwater River. Sites were close together, but fortunately there was no one on either side of me. Next to federal land and nice trails. Owners and staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there on future trips through the area.

Very nice park. Staff was extremely helpful and cooperative. We stayed for two months and really enjoyed the park. Park had many activities, and the park was well cared for. Lots of trees, and plenty of space between sites. Mid way between Rockport and Aransas Pass. Only concern was limited cell service.

Very nice, uncrowded park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites are roomy and each site backs up to a lake. Obviously designed for fishermen, it has it's regular clientele for weekends and winter stays. Loved the local restaurants and friendly people. Will return in December when again traveling through the area.

Beautiful campground and park. Great sites with FHUs and partially obscured view of the lake. Stayed in October and enjoyed the changing of the leaves. Only two negatives. 1. Significant drive from Interstate if you're only staying one night. 2. Swimming is not allowed in the lake: but they do have a pool. Loved the park and hope to return for multiple nights.

Worst park I have paid to stay in. I agree with the three previous reviews. Only wish I had read them before I pulled into the park. Never should have stayed. Park is very run down and housed what appears to be numerous long term, dislocated individuals. Definitely felt like an unsafe park. Initially I was impressed with the "gated community" aspect. Then feared that I was housed in a very unsafe community. Please do NOT stay here.

Friendly staff. Used it as a one night stopover. Park and pet area clean. Lots of area to walk pets. We were away from the highway so didn't notice highway noise. Below the airport, but didn't hear planes while sleeping. Cool to watch the F-16s fly by.

Nice little park; friendly staff; laundry room and restrooms were very clean and well kept. Quiet even though close to the interstate. Park wasn't even half full due to the season so we had lots of room. Nice trees for shade. Nice playground for kids. Lots of grass for walking dog. Would definitely stay again if passing through.

Not a resort park, but it was convenient, clean and quiet. We were in Bismarck visiting my son. Didn't spend a lot of time in the park; but appreciated the large field behind our site to walk the dog. Park was not full even though it was the weekend, so we didn't feel crowded. Would definitely stay here again. Great price compared to the local KOA which was almost twice the price.

Nice setting in the trees. As others said, the showers were dirty. My wife indicates the women's showers were cleaner. Some of the dirt I attribute to oil workers who are staying at the park. However, the mold and very dirty corners/soap trays indicate it's been a long time since it was adequately cleaned. Served our purpose as a one night stopover since we had FHUs; and the price was right. However, it needs lots of work.

Comparable to forest service campsites; water hook up available at dump station; access to the river; because of the rain the area's weeds are pretty high; over priced for the value but a pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful setting with sites nicely spaced. Water spigots spaced around campground but did not find spigot to fill RV water tank; electric at sites; there is no dump station; tough to rate the campground since it rained all evening so we didn't get to explore the area; would stay there again.

Park is very attractive; quiet and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Park has easy access to I-15 and is several miles north of the Capitol City. Dog friendly. Does not have cable but local channels are clear using the antenna. Good Sam, AARP discounts. Would definitely stay here again.
