This park definitely has appeal for families with children. I was concerned about running over a child as many were riding bikes and playing in the street. As a result, the campground was very noisy. We were directed to park in a spot that had a very deep mud hole as did several other sites.
This is a great place to stay. The restrooms and showers are brand new and kept very clean. The couple who operate the park are extremely helpful and friendly. The views are awesome, and the park is well-maintained with level sights--unusual for this area. It is a great location for visiting Yellowstone (you can see the north entrance from the park). We felt very safe and secure.
