Very old, needs some serious updates. We started our weekend back on site 48. It would have been ok for a 20' camper, not our 30'. It was very tight, muddy, low hanging branches. The hook-ups were a joke. I ask the clerk if I could possibly move the next morning, and they were kind enough to let me move. Our next site was #69. Bigger, more room, nicer site by the playground and pool. We liked this site. The only problem was the large gravel covering the entire site. Pretty hard on the dog's feet. The campground was good for the kids. However, we will not be returning here.
Our second visit here. We tried one of there patio sites. It was nice, it would have been perfect if we would of have enough room to put our awning out. There was a huge tree that prevented the awning for extending out. Other than that, the campground is great. If you are in the upper sections you may get a little road noise and the road is a little tight. We were in the lower section(site #69) and there was no road noise. Great staff, well maintained. We would return.
Very nice, well maintained campground. We were in site #3. The sites on this side of the campground were very nice size. Lots of room. The fire rings are out near the road, not too bad. The only issues that kept this from not getting a 9 or 10 were the roads and the noise from the near by roadway. The roads within the park were a little tight. If you have a big camper they are tough to get backed-in. There is a lot of road noise where we were at also. The owners and staff were great. All said, we would return. as a matter of fact we will probably go back this summer.
Nice Campground. Half of the staff is friendly. The Mrs. side of the couple that own the campground is very nice. The Mr. is not. Sites are nice size, easy to back into, the grass is taking a pretty good beating, but that is to be expected with the dry spell that we have been having. Lots going on for the kids. Must have been a party weekend, it was a little noisy late night. Over all, would fit into my "Top 10" somewhere @ 5 or 6. We would return here.
We pulled into this campground to stay a couple nights on our way home from Hershey Park. We pulled out after one night. This campground is one big hill. We had a pull-thru site that wasn't even long enough to let our truck sit by our camper. We had to park on a vacant site beside us, we were lucky they were not busy or we would have had nowhere to park. Sites are really small, sewer, water, and cable hook-ups are too far away, take extra hoses!! The only thing we liked about this campground was the pool.
Nice little campground. New owners, and they are doing improvements. The sites are a little tight, but we were there during the week, so we didn't have campers around us. Just a short drive to Hershey Park. The kids liked the pool & game room. Very quiet & relaxing after a day at Hershey. I would recommend this campground if you are going during the week, not on busy weekends.
This is one of those campgrounds you have to go to. The so called "main road" to the campground isn't the greatest, however, we made it there. There is so much for the kids to do! They have a small petting zoo, and the kids can feed the animals twice a day. GREAT ice cream stand. Nice store. Nice pool. I do not suggest the pull-thru sites, they are small, and not really pull-thru. We will however return here.
Well kept campground. Access roads are a little tight if you have a long camping unit. Sites are nice size. Some sites have cement patios. Road noise is very noticeable from sites on the back side of the campground. We probably would return here.
