Managers were great. Escorted to our site. This park is very convenient to I-10. We had a large pull through that accommodated our truck, 38' fifth wheel and car. The site had large trees providing shade in the Texas summer. Nice pool. We will stay here again when in the area.
The rate shown is with Good Sam discount. This is a decent overnite stop. Nothing to write home about after that though. Staff was welcoming and efficient. Good electric and cable TV. This park is much better than another park we stayed at in Amarillo. Will stay here again when we pass through the area.
This is a convenient stop on I-70, easy-on, easy-off. Good overnight, with all hook-ups and plenty of room in long pull through sites. There is a restaurant within walking distance and a fuel stop directly across the street. Nothing to make me stay longer than overnight, but a good place to spend the night.
The sites here are very close. It was difficult maneuvering with the narrow streets and sites. On our row the trucks were parked nose to tail. If my neighbor had not moved his truck, I would have really struggled to get out of my pull through site. On the positive side, the owners were quite nice and suggested a day trip to us that was spectacular. But with the site congestion, we will likely try some other park when in Cody again.
This is a very nice park only four blocks from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The staff in the office is terrific, very helpful. Restrooms, showers, and laundry are spotless. The town of West Yellowstone is easy walking distance. I thought the sites were close together considering the premium price I was paying for our one week stay. Only reason I did not rate a 10. Would stay again.
Okay, the views are pretty nice. However, the sites are tight for big rigs. The rate for the site was $33, but we were charged $1 additional because we had a dog. First time that has happened. Wi-Fi was fine. Had a 4G connection on the Verizon phone and the ATT phone had a good signal as well. This park has more "Don'ts" than "Do's" on it's information sheet. Lots of kids in the pool, but that was fine with us. The "pet area" is a field with tall grass behind the last row of sites. Don't think we would stay here again.
We stayed two nites. Not the prettiest place we've stayed but okay. The website indicates 30/50 amp at $34 per nite. That is no longer accurate, a 50 amp site is $38 now. The rate shown includes a Good Sam discount. Our site was shady and had a big swing as well as a picnic table. Did not use the shower or restrooms. The laundry was clean, but expensive ($2.75 for a washer). The office has a very unpleasant odor. We had an issue with dog droppings at the back of our site. The staff apologized for the problem and sent somebody over right away to clean it up. Close to the Little Bighorn Battlefield. As noted in earlier reviews this is an easy access park from I90. We would stay again
We really liked this park. Very convenient to many of the area attractions. We saw deer and turkey wander through the park. It was very quiet and we could see the entrance to Custer State Park from our site. We stayed in a "premium pull through." These sites were actually smaller than some of the other sites. Our site was on both the entrance and exit roads. Very dusty due to the drought in the area. The water pressure was low but tolerable. We will return but will choose another area of the park to stay in. The rate is for a one week stay.
We stayed here for 10 days. This is basically a gravel parking lot. However, the electric was strong with no issues. Water pressure was good. The laundry was clean, however expensive for the washer ($2.00 for 20 minutes). The managers live on site. The managers were friendly and helpful when we needed information. Certainly not a destination park, but better than two others we checked out during our stay here. Would stay again.
We spent 6 weeks here and the cost reflects a monthly rate. This is a great park. The owner continues to make improvements. Since our last visit some sites were expanded and are just huge. We were in two separate sites during our stay. One of the sites, while quite wide, did not have much room between us and the site behind us. WIFI is adequate. There is no cell service without a booster antenna. However, the park does have a telephone available at no charge for campers. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. A family friendly place without question. We will definitely be back.
This is one of our favorite parks. It is a little pricey, but the location in Arlington is great. Very close to shopping, restaurants, the ballpark, etc. Lots of shade trees to help with the Texas heat. The staff is friendly and an escort is provided to take you to your site. The laundry facilities (there are two) are very clean. The pool is nice as well. We will definitely return.
This is just an overnight stop when traveling the panhandle of Texas. Rigs are parked in every direction. Glad we had an escort to our site, it was just a little confusing. With the way the rigs were parked there was no way for me to pull through our pull through site. I had to back out when we left. Not my favorite place, we are unlikely to return.
We stayed four nights. All sites are gravel and there is basically no shade. Neighbors are quite close. A previous review talked about the gravel settling. Over time the gravel seems to have compacted as we have a heavy 5th wheel and had no settling problem. There are a number of fulltime residents with rigs in varying condition. The place was quiet and the grounds are well kept. We would stay again. The rate includes the Good Sam discount.
One of our favorite parks. A top notch operation. We were here for a rally and the staff and facilities are outstanding. Interior roads are paved and in excellent condition. Sites are level. Not much shade during a Texas summer though. The staff keeps the grounds in great shape. Laundry facility is nice and clean, as is the pool. Decent Wi-Fi. We will return in the fall.
We have used this park since 2004. This is our last visit though. The park continues to deteriorate. The roads are rough and when we stayed part of the road was one lane due to a washed out culvert area. We had to call the ranger to have somebody use a weed eater on the area around the power pedestal and sewer. Much of the infrastructure needs attention.
This is a nice park in Oklahoma City. The grounds are well kept. However, the park is right next to the interstate. Highway noise is always present. My chief complaint and the reason for the 5 rating is the smell of garbage from the dumpster is overpowering in the 90 degree temperatures. We arrived on a Wednesday and the dumpsters were full. I asked at the office about the stench and was informed the garbage is picked up once a week, and would not be picked up until the next Monday. If you come here ask for a spot upwind from the dumpsters.
