Great Park!!! Each site is individually owned and the landscaping is tremendous. The staff was very helpful in check-in. They escorted us to our site and assisted in backing in (probably to ensure that the "renters" don't damage anything!) Great experience, view was tremendous. Only complaint is that there is no boat launch ramp and the swimming pool was heated to an uncomfortable level. Plenty of things to do in the area. Hiking/bike trails, etc. I would certainly camp here again.
Wow, great park. Lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes and play in the adjoining hiking trails. Don't let the walk to the beach scare you, the paved path is well maintained and not difficult to manage (even pulling a cooler). The beach itself is clean and not rocky at the waterline at all! We will certainly be back.
Very nice park. Get a streamside space! There are activities for the kids including crafts, a hayride and a train as well as miniature golf. Fishing in the streams is ok, not great. Staff is very helpful and if you are here as a "guest" you have to sit through the sales pitch. It is not that bad but if you are tempted to buy please barter with them. Our sales pitch started at $22k and by the end of the conversation it was down to $4k. That is not a typo.
Pretty pricey but well worth it. This is a great campground with direct bayfront access and their own private beach. The spaces were narrow but pretty easy to access. Friendly staff and very clean park. Take your kids, they will love it!
Great Park for families! The only complaint was the noise in the city park adjacent to our site. There were several people in the park until late playing music loud one of the evenings and another group yelling and swearing the other evening. The city park does shut down at 10:30 so the noise won't keep you awake. The bay view sites are nice, however the entire park was very well kept. The sites are a bit narrow but not difficult to back into.
