We have stayed at this park three times, all one-night stopovers. It's convenient to I-40, adequate sized spaces, decent wi-fi, good off-air TV reception. Did not utilize showers or restrooms. We will definitely stay here in the future.
Very nice park. Paved roads, gravel sites. Well maintained. Two pools, fitness center, and good WiFi. No cable TV, but Las Vegas channels available off air. Great mountain views of Mt. Charleston. Death Valley easily accessible. Winery on site, with good restaurant and small vineyard. Quiet, but good central location for Pahrump. Nice laundry. Good washers and dryers. Car/RV power washing station with good access. Spaces were level, and of a good size. Did not feel cramped in a 40' RV. Coyotes came into the park on two nights. We stayed 8 nights. We will stay here on our next trip.
Nice isolated location. Lots of shade. WiFi was not usable. Cable TV was not working. Poor laundry facility. two washers, one was not working. Two dryers. Went into Santa Paula to do laundry. Heavy trucks carrying avocados roll through the park at early hours, but mostly quiet. Nice pool and zip line. The park has improved some since our last stay in 2010, but could use a bit more work, such as site leveling, tree trimming, and moving some of the piles of rocks to allow easier maneuvering of RVs. Would stay here again.
Great place. Have stayed here twice before. Spacious, gravel spaces. Outstanding views. Cleanest showers I've seen anywhere. Very convenient to I-40. Within walking distance to a truck stop where the Iron Skillet restaurant is located. Good comfort food, and buffet. Will stay here again.
Beautiful, well maintained park, with great scenic view, paved roads, and concrete patios. Stayed here overnight, but would like to come back for a longer stay. Utility hookups were in the back, and the sewer hookup was a stretch for our 5th wheel. Somewhat isolated, but that is part of the attraction of the park. Adjacent to the west side of I-10, and the ubiquitous railroad track, but the noise didn't bother us much. The only negative aspect was not being able to drink the water right from the tap due to high chemical content. OK for bathing, brushing teeth, etc. Purified water for drinking can be purchased for 5 cents per gallon, so we didn't consider this to be a big issue.
Inadequate space for a 4-slide, 40' RV. Slides came within 2-3 feet of slides of adjacent RVs. Neighbor parked his truck so that we could exit our space the next morning. Spaces are not marked, which results in varying parking angles of RVs. Because the spaces are so close, this affects the ability to use your site. Very dusty dirt spaces with some very small gravel mixed in. Overall impression was of a run-down park. Right on I-10, but the traffic noise didn't seem to be a problem. Water faucets in the pull-through spaces were bent so that they faced toward the ground, making hookup more difficult if using pressure regulator. Animal feces present on site. Exterior of showers was not inviting, but did not go inside. Tried to use the Wi-Fi, but the access code we were given did not work. We might stop overnight there again if there was some reason we could not get space somewhere else.
Clean, well groomed park. Exceptionally clean restrooms and showers. Two very nice laundry facilities, and reasonably priced. Wi-Fi recently upgraded and works very well most of the time. Walking distance to convenience store, no more than a mile to a super WalMart. Paved spaces are a bit close, but adequate, as are the paved park roads. One mile walking course to help with exercise. Nice pool. Good park security. Two dog areas, one of which is very small. The other dog area is split into two smaller areas by fence. The dog areas can be very busy at times. Have stayed here on last 4 visits to Las Vegas, and will do so again.
