Be sure to call ahead for reservations. Token operated showers (make sure you get two per shower). Great location. Close to entrance of Zion Park, yet walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Bus stop at front of RV park is free and takes you to park and throughout town. Closest Walmart is 25 min away and local grocers are outrageously expensive. Worth the trip to Walmart. Wi-Fi crappy, but who needs Wi-Fi and cable TVwhen in Zion? We did not use either as we were amazed by the views of our campground and campfire. Our second time here, will always stay here when in town.
VERY clean, great location and great people! Price reflects our KOA membership discount, also a grass/shade spot. Totally worth more money for the grass and shade as the daily temps were in the 100's and we travel with dogs. This is the only campground on the strip. We felt safe there, with KOA workers constantly driving around on their golf carts 24 hours a day. If you do not pay extra for a grass/shade spot the rest of the park is essentially a huge parking lot. Great little gravel fenced in "off leash" dog park. Typical KOA restrooms-clean and efficient. 20 min walk to the Wynn at a decent speed from the KOA. We love it here, will stay again as this is our second time already.
Beautiful Park, great scenery and amazing redwoods in the tent area. Very pet friendly with fenced in "off leash" park. Huge heard of elk in the pasture in the morning. The campground has two goats, chickens and a peacock (fenced in) that kept our hound dog entertained throughout our stay. Grassy, semi-level sights that are spacious. Typical KOA restrooms, efficient and clean. This campground we feel is the cleanest and best in town!! We will definitely stay here again.
Even though we reserved our reservations way in advanmce, we had much difficulty when checking in and the workers canceling one of the reservations in our party. The sights were paved, level (some had shade), and not spacious. Many rabbits in the park which kept our dogs entertained. No cable TV for the high price and Wi-Fi was sparse. Close distance to Golden and Coors brewing company which is well worth checking out and free of cost for parking, tastings and a great tour. Dog friendly, no dog park however great walking trails from park (with lots of "beware rattlesnakes" signs, however none encountered). Restrooms were excellent. Small work out facility which was good.
The campground host was very nice. Kureg coffee and free continental breakfast. Great one night stop on the way to Capitol Reef. Typical KOA restrooms, efficient and clean. Sites were level, gravel, not a lot of shade, and very dusty!
One commode for men and one for women for the entire campground with a waiting line observed in the morning. So, caution with the amount of mimosas and greasy eggs. This campground charges $4.00 per site to use the showers and restroom, however left the sprinklers on 24hours a day on their beautiful grass. The location is beautiful, overlooking a pasture with amazing views in every direction, and yes the watered grass was nice to let our dogs walk in. Sites are gravel and level. Rating not higher than an 6 if planning on using the facilities. We camped here in a motorhome and travel trailer.
Price reflects KOA member discount. Small fenced in "off leash" dog park. Very friendly workers. Level sites that were gravel with some grass and shade. Typical KOA restrooms, clean and efficient. Campground directly on route 12. Wi-Fi spotty, however in the middle of nowhere. Location is aprox 20 min to the entrance of Bryce Canyon, where there are several other campgrounds at or closer to Bryce Canyon.
Beautiful orange grove campground with small trees at each site. Gravel, level sights with friendly check in lady. Pleasant surprise as we were just passing by and found this campground. Walmart approx 25 min. Fenced in dog area in the orange grove with shade! Immaculate restrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
Location is a 10, the park itself is a 7. Directions and "signage" to get to the park are very poor, and it is difficult to maneuver. We missed our turn and ended up driving our motorhome-while towing our car, through a residential school zone with school letting out. 10 minute walk to the ferry that takes you to San Francisco and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. All gravel back in sites, fairly level and extremely small!! The ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and accommodating. Basic cable TV and poor WiFi. Tengonet is terrible no matter where you are. GREAT walking area at back of the park for dogs and bird watching along the bay. Also, walking distance to Trader Joe's, Bev Mo and Marin Brewing Company. Card access restrooms. We will definitely stay here again!!
