The sites are hard-packed gravel and level, with concrete patio and grassy area - very well maintained. The utilities are very good including WI-Fi. Otherwise not much to say. This is mostly a mobile home/park model park. There are no amenities (recreation or convenience). The office is open only weekday afternoons, so if you arrive on Saturday you won't get cable until after 1pm on Monday. For a big rig it was OK access. It took us about 10 minutes to back in. It was pretty quiet but I don't think there are any noise rules or anyone to enforce them. I didn't find anywhere else to stay near here.
This is a very nice park. Easy access, big rig friendly. We were escorted to our site. Streets are hard surfaced and in good condition. Sites are spacious and level, packed gravel parking area with grass and concrete patios with shrubs, all well maintained. Shade trees are scattered around the park. Utilities are conveniently located at the center of the site, not to one end or the other. Water pressure and electric are fine. Good lineup of cable TV channels. The Wi-Fi is a little intermittent, but OK. Recreation is limited. Inside, a lounge area with TV, books and puzzles/games. There is a nice-looking playground, but no pool. The dog area looks nice, but I didn't use it. Bath/shower rooms look fine. The laundry is small with only one dryer. Overall, the park is very well laid out, nicely maintained and the rules are enforced so it's nice and quiet. No tents or FEMA trailers allowed so that helps. Very little road noise. The rate quoted reflect weekly charge. We will definitely stay here again. This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed in.
Very nice. The sites were concrete and level. Escort to site. Security gates. Nice landscaping. Outdoor facilities were not open due to season. Convenient to great Cajun restaurant. This was the only park we could get into due to influx of construction workers, and we were very happy. We would stay here again.
Park is not as advertised. There is one area, next to the road, with level pull-thru sites, basically a gravel parking lot. The rest of the park is dirt and nowhere near level sites. The pool was not open, and did not look like anything I would use. There is only one, not "pools" as advertised. The "fitness room" is a storeroom with 3 machines which do not work. One thing the park does have, which the ad doesn't mention, is a 4-wheeler track around the pond which you have to listen to 8 hours a day. There are no rules concerning pets, so dogs are penned/tied outside and no one picks up after them. Vehicles speed through park. Very disappointing.
This park would be great but is WAY too hard to get in/out of. It's an older park in town and not set up well for big rigs. There are only 5 pull-throughs, which are next to the road and have no space between them. The escort nearly ran us into golf carts. We'll have to ask our neighbors to move their car so we can pull out. Otherwise the park is very friendly and facilities are fine.
One of the nicest parks we have stayed. Facilities are pristine, everything works all the time! Streets/sites are hard level gravel, nice and big, backin sites are very wide, lots of room for slides and awnings. There is a small stream running along one side. The tent sites are in the back along with rental teepees, very cool! Only downsides are: 1) The cost of showers ($1.25 for 10 min). 2) There are only 10 cable TV channels, but the Wi-Fi is great. 3) And, it's a bit isolated. There is a corner store and gas station (no diesel, but they have propane). It is 8 miles to the nearest town with a grocery store. All in all a BEAUTIFUL park and I would stay here again and again!
Resort -- NOT! Golf -- I don't think so, although I'm not a golfer it sure didn't look like much to me. It is way down a poor country road in the middle of farm fields. It is very tight to get in and out of, and if the sites were ever gravel it was years ago! The pool was full of kids who came off the school bus. There are very junky old units in some sites. The wi-fi is pay, you get 10 minutes free. The store shelves were nearly bare. I would not stay here again.
