Had an awesome time. Staff was dressed as pirates for pirate weekend, had a water balloon pirate ship, DJ at the pool there was a group next to us getting a little loud but security came by talked to them they were quiet the rest of the night. Reserved for pirate weekend for next year!

Had a great time, Kids didn't want to leave. Staff was friendly and helpful. Noticed lots of upgrades and more activities for the kids since last year made more reservations before i left. Would have been a 10 if not for the roots on the site though the shade was nice.

$53 per night for a cramped, unlevel site, plus $10 per night for 2 kids, plus $5 per night for a dog. No planned activities, overpriced game room, must be out by 11AM Sunday (campsites not cabins). The putt putt was free, had a nice dog park and free pancakes. For the price there are many better campgrounds to choose from, so unless Harpers Ferry is your destination, go somewhere else.

Easter weekend, cold. Always a great park and continually improving. Unfortunately I noticed a change in attitude. Hopefully it was due to cold weather but most employees in passing carts neither waved, nodded or showed happy your here attitude (Overt friendliness has been the norm from the crew on carts). The counter help as usual expresses no interest in moving the line quicker. I understand were all here to relax but when units are backed up and blocking the road this is not the time to have personal conversation with the other cashier and stop ringing customers to adjust the bills in the till. The Rec staff seams to be different from last year and unfortunately are not as enthusiastic. There was little communication to the kids during the games and almost and aggravated to be here attitude. This is a great campground and i'm sure they will get back into the typical spirit once the season begins (don't have much hope for the counter staff after 5 years)

Very well maintained campground. Mostly seasonal but several transient sites with more on the way. Very friendly hosts particularly the owners sister, a very pleasant change compared to the typical KOA and corporate staff. Some of the largest sites i've seen. Some basic activities, 2 pools, b-ball, horseshoes, lots of hiking, atv, horse trails, canoeing. Roads approaching seem worse (long, narrow and winding) the first time but the second time they don't seem so bad.

We love this campground visit twice a year for the last 5 years. It was our 1st Easter weekend here and had a great time missed the adult hunt though. The park was a mess with construction and sadly for tent campers and hikers those large private wooded sites above the storage lot are all gone. Make way for the buses, hope the widen the road at the mini golf curve. The staff is like no other we have met. Though the office staff on every visit inappropriately loudly voiced dissatisfaction with an employee or customer (to another employee but none the less inappropriate). Much thought is put into the activities and i NEVER hear the kids say i'm bored or there's nothing to do. This is probably the most expensive campground we go to and it seams it will be even more so once the pool opens but on the other hand my wife and i spend all but meal time relaxing, "Yogi take me away".

We have yet to visit this campground between Memorial and Labor day, but my kids love it. The hiking in the woods along the stream is like no other private campground we've been to. There are hills be they make for great views we are thinking or a september visit, I can only imagine the view! The campground does seem to be predominately Seasonal but every camper i passed waved or said hi. The woman at the office (whom i have seen every time there and at the shows) is very cordial and addressed me by name each time she saw me! Maybe i'm just cute lol, but it sure doesn't give the impression the cater to just their "chipmunks". We all like it we'll be back. PS love the decks on the terrace sites.

Had reservation for a creek front site for the 3rd year in a row. At the creek sites we felt somewhat separate from the rest of the dumpy campground. We enjoy the creek and the haunted house but that is it. The negative about the creek site is it stays wet even couple days after a rain and the entire campground is on a steep hillside. This particular weekend the forecast was for torrential downpours and flood watches so being at the bottom of a hillside next to a large creek in the mud did not appeal to me. I sent an e-mail the thursday evening prior to our stay apologizing that we would not be making it and that we understood we would be forfeiting our deposit. A month later I find a charge against my card for the balance of the stay (the deposit was paid at the time of the reservation). This is now November and the campground is closed and we don't get a return call until January leaving a message indicating we would not be refunded since we canceled our reservation less then the posted cancellation time. Nowhere on the web site does it indicate that you will lose MORE then the deposit. I hope the extra $45.00 was worth it as we, my sister nor our parents will visit your park again.

Our 3rd and last visit!! As in my May 05 post I gave the benefit of the doubt that the projects and demolition were in the midst of better things to come, that is still yet to be seen. Unfinished projects are still unfinished, Pool area appears to unfinished: unlevel, rocking temporary stepping stones waiting to pinch or stub a childs toe, Grass (weeds) surrounding pool sidewalk, who’s brainstorm was this? By the end of the day the pool was full of grass. There were teens looking for a hose to clean there feet before entering the pool as most pools request, but one was not found so they had no choice but to get in with muddy feet, Poor planning. The buildings and mill appear to be neglected a shame since they are on the historical register. I can see these being a nightmare to keep up on, but the history and antiques under the leaking roofs are irreplaceable. I did notice they combined a few sites to create larger sites which they need. Space is a premium with this campground I would estimate less then 20 acres including the creek. This visit was on memorial day weekend typically the first big camping weekend of the year for a campground. All winter to clean up, get ready, fresh ideas, fresh perspective the beginning of a great and profitable year. Well not here, same so so attitude, no improvement to the decades old bathrooms, they didn’t even bother to clean them. There were spiderwebs, clogged drains, mold on tile and piping. On a holiday weekend I can sometimes understand it to be difficult to keep up with the traffic on a busy weekend but they started filthy. Office/store ad very unusual hours 7pm needed ice, firewood, marshmallows and 6 ice creams had to go up the road (probably got a better deal) saw at least 4 other groups go to the door in the two minutes I was in view of the store door. The husband and father in law both were cordial and seemed to be busy accommodating guests. The father in law did a great job with the egg toss which the kids had a great time. Oh a suggestion for the fishing derby, promote catch and release, by the time the kids took there fish to the store and got back the fish was dead, hence the stench at both the bridge and pond the next day. There have to be 20 or so campgrounds within the Lancaster and surrounding areas I’m sure we’ll find a better option next time later this year when we visit again. I’ll be sure to use this site before I decide. We RV 14-16 times a year in MD, PA, VA and DE There are just too many choices out there to settle for this.

This is a professionally designed and built campground. Great game room (no pinball !?!), pool and registration, sites are huge, lots of pull thrus, level sites & roads, separate tenting, group tenting, and pop up areas, large play ground and pool, clean and well lit, only 3 cabins. The camp store is a bit small but they had what I needed. If you are visiting Kings Dominion (KD) this campground is a mile away and has a continuous running free shuttle. We spoke to a couple of campers who were camping for other reasons then KD, but I would have to pass this camp by if I were looking for a destination campground since there is little to do. Though it is very quite during the day since everyone is at the park. We will definitely be back for our next visit to KD.

This was our second Memorial Day visit to Mill Bridge. The new owners have many improvements as well as demolition going on since last year. Many of the improvements are partially completed so I feel it would be unfair to judge them until completed and the bugs worked out, a lot of things in the works and moving in the right direction. A small quaint campground with lots of kids about, many Amish traveling by the campground. The main reason for coming to this campground was the buggy rides and the horses which my daughter loves, they werent here this year but unfortunately the miserable old woman scouring at every customer especially the children as they approached the store was still there. The kids did enjoy fishing and the campground overall, it was quiet and clean. The disappointments were the activities: a very half hearted attempt, and no buggy rides. It was clearly evident that the vast majority of campers had young children, but there was little attempt to provide entertainment or create an inviting atmosphere for children. Not every campground should cater to children; some campers look for campgrounds that dont have children. Maybe this will be one of them. Glad they are planning on rehabing the bath facilities because they are the pits. We'll give 'em a year and check back.
