This is an older park that is new to the KOA. If you are used to KOA's amenities don't assume that this park will have it. You will have to pay for internet per day or by the week. You also do not get a grill at your camp site. The host does not back you in, or guide you. You are on your own unless you ask. This seems to be normally a KOA standard. The spots have no grass and are all gravel. Most spots are back in and are very tight. The park was virtually empty yet they clustered all the RV's together, and would have 10 spots empty that you could pull through but would assign a back in. They do not give any extra room to park. Make sure you add 8 feet to your trailer size to get a little extra space in your spot. The person behind us literally was 12 inches from our back bumper. Other than that it was all about location, location, location. Not a place to hang out, but to do lots of tourist stuff.

When we arrived the water pump had broken the night before. There were no showers or laundry available for the day. The back in site was very tough to navigate. To even back up the truck, without the trailer, into the parking spot we were in the forest. No one can pass if you are backing in your trailer. The sites connections are not well maintained. Water was leaking from the connections. Maintenance came by to get it fixed, and said that the request had been open for a year. We made it on battery power for 4 days with a solar panel. There was an outlet for a hair dryer in the restrooms.

This was one of the nicest KOA's I have ever stayed at. Everything was clean! The park was family friendly. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They did a nice remodel job of the restrooms.

The staff was welcoming and helped guide us to our site. The park is very family friendly with a nice park. It is close to all the amenities. They offered delivery of breakfast to our trailer. I would definitely stay again.

The park is part of a permanent mobile home park. The pool and laundry facilities are shared with the mobile home park. At least 10 of the sites have permanent residents that have converted their trailers into mobile homes. The attendants did not escort or help you park in the extremely tight spots. The attendants never left the office unless they were out to smoke. One attendant had his KOA shirt unbuttoned to his navel with his chest exposed. It was definitely not like any other KOA I have experienced.

This is a good park to goto Bryce Canyon and sightsee. This isn't a park that you would spend a lot of time. The sites can face your neigbor and you share a plot of rocks or grass if you are lucky with the neighbor. It can be a bit dusty with ATV's driving around. The couple who runs it are very nice and welcoming.

This was an excellent park. We stayed in the Redhead loop at site 13. We had an excellent view of the lake and our site was deep and level. We had easy access to go fishing. The water pressure was very high at the shower facilities, and we had hot water. We stayed during the Memorial Day weekend and never felt like there were too many people around. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful!
