Heavily wooded county run park. The check in did not know their campground very well. They tried to put me in a site that required me to back around about 100 degrees of turn. I drive a 40' MH and there was brush, trees, and signposts in the way. Since they were not crowded I put it in the next site which was angled properly for back-ins. Then I went and told her what I had done. They should have known I would have trouble getting into that site. The only reason we were here is that it is close to Manasses where we had some repairs done. The sites are heavily wooded so if you like that you will love this place. About 20 miles south of Washington, DC off of I-95. We will not go back due to maneuvering difficulty. I thought the price was high for what you get.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this park. It is just an easy day drive on the way home from Tulsa to Alabama. The sites and roads are all concrete. The pull-thru sites can be a challenge to get level because they slope to the front. The price includes the Good Sam discount. This is also a Passport America park. We will definitely stay here again.

Campground is associated with Tulsa Expo Square Fairgrounds. It is centrally located in Tulsa and convenient to all parts of the city. It is a large parking lot type place with little shade. They have trees planted but they haven't grow big enough to provide much shade. We stay here every year when we go visit family in Tulsa. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is you may be sharing the campground with horse or cattle show people. They do a lot of going and coming to the show arenas, mostly in diesel pickup trucks. Fortunately they do not allow any of the show animals in the RV Park. Price listed is for 50 amp service. 30 amp is $2 less. Sites are not very big. Unless you are on the end of the row or no one is in the next site, your awning will stay rolled up. I always try to get on the end so I can put out the awning. WiFi is purchased from a local company. It costs $18.95 for seven days. I think it was $3.95 for one day. Since we were there for 6 days it was cheaper to get it for the whole week. We will stay here every time we go to Tulsa.

Interior roads narrow and rutted. Had severe weather the night we were there. Could not get satellite to work. Needed to cut the grass/weeds around the sites. Drainage could use some work. Just off the interstate on the access road which dead ends into the campground. Some road noise. Probably would not go back here again.

Neat, clean park. Out in a cornfield so it is flat! Did not have full hookup available so had w/e only. Since it was just an overnight, that was fine with us. People in the office were very nice and helpful. Helped make reservation for the next night at KOA Lebanon, MO. Good overnight stop before getting to St. Louis.

Sites were not very level. Had to use a couple of blocks to get level. That is bad when you have auto levelers. Also had a group of folks enjoying adult beverages and loud music near us. First site I was sent to had a very large hole at the end(pull thru) so when I left I would have a problem. I asked for and got a different site. The owner came out to fix the hole with a shovel. What she needed was a wheelbarrow full of rock. A storm had washed away some of the rock. This place is right off the Ohio Turnpike but there is no highway noise. Not too hard to get into and reasonably priced. Good for an overnight when travelling.

We only went to this campground because we thought it was a Passport America. Fond out it is not, in fact, they do not give ANY discounts at all. It is way off the beaten path. You have to go through several different residential neighborhoods and then back into the country to get there. Might not be too bad if it was closer to a major highway. It is about 8 miles out to it. Site was grass and down off the road with a BIG drop off. Big site, though. Backed up to lake. Several seasonals there. Had a restaurant at the office but it was not open when we were there. We will not go back

Good base camp for Quechee Gorge, White River Junction, etc. I have heard that it is now a KOA. They did not mention that was going to happen when we checked in. Unable to get sat but had cable. As some have mentioned, part of the campground is up a hill. I would not want to take a big rig like mine(40') up there. It was bad enough getting into the site we were in. The turn was a little tight. People were nice and friendly and WiFi was very strong. Laundry room was clean and cool. Entrance was good and wide for big rigs.

This is advertised as a great destination stop. No way! The sites are tight. It is a good thing I did not want to put out my awning. It would have been in the next guy's living room. You can get cable by calling the cable company and getting it turned on. Not worth it for overnight. Besides the cable connection at my site looked like someone drove off with the cable still connected. The Circle restaurant nearby is pretty good. There are many seasonals in a couple of the loops. Some are not well kept. Soil is sandy and tracks in everywhere, especially when it rains like it did on us. We will not be back. Price includes Good Sam discount.

Again, I am told I can get satellite but it doesn't connect. We stayed here to culminate the purpose of our trip from Alabama. That is, to eat some Maine lobster. When we asked about a good place to get lobster, we were told about a man across the road from the campground who would deliver the lobster. We actually went to his place and ordered it. He did not have any place to sit and eat so we took it back to the MH and ate it there. Total price for two lobsters, stone crab claws, and two ears of corn: $35. We priced lobster in Bar Harbor at $35 a pound. This is a pretty good place to base from to tour Acadia Nat'l Park. Saw a couple of others that might even have been better and closer to Bar Harbor. I would probably stay at one of them if I go back.

Very nice an clean campground. Called ahead to get a site and was told I could not reserve by phone for only one night. Huh? Stayed two nights and looked around Old Orchard Beach. Wife got her nails done. Not much there besides an amusement park and a big pier. Since we are not interested in that sort of thing, it wasn't much to us. Campground had MANY seasonals. Their lots were very well kept so it was not unsightly. Again could not get satellite to work even though campground said I would. Easy access off I-95.

Asked for a site with satellite access. Was assured that my site would get satellite. Well, it wouldn't. Never did get it going. Otherwise, average KOA. Laundry facilities could use some upgrading. 2 of 6 washers out of order and 1 of 3 dryers did not heat. They refunded me the money I spent on that dryer which I thought was nice. Good place to stay when touring Plymouth and Plimoth Plantation. Kind of pricey for what you get.

This is not a bad place but it is all seasonals. At least, everyone there when we were looked like they were set up for the long haul. Decks, porches, screen rooms, potted plants, etc. We stayed here because we had joined Passport America online and it was 'close' to our route. It is actually over ten miles off the interstate. Entrance road was very rough. Only 30 amp service but we managed. Price includes PA discount. We would not stay here again.

This is a very clean park. Even though it is next to an amusement park, we were not bothered by any noise. The sites were interesting in that they were T shaped with two units in the cross bar of the T. Two fifth wheels would have trouble getting in. They had a Monaco rally going on when we were there. Lots of big rigs. Had satellite access until the thunderstorm came through and knocked it out. Went to their cable after that. Since it is on a main road it can be difficult to get in/out of the entrance due to traffic. We would go back here again.

This is the closest campground to the Gettysburg Battlefield Visitor Center. We stayed for three extra days due to repairs being needed on our MH and towed vehicle. They were very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Campground includes a riding stable which takes people through the battlefield on horseback. Campground was not very full. Entrance needed to be graded as it had some large potholes. They had a n ice cream social one night, a DJ the next night with dancing. If you are not too tired after touring the battlefield, you can join in. Could not get a site with satellite access so had to go with antenna. Reception not all that great. All in all, it was a good place. We will stay here again.

There have been many reviews on this campground complaining about the owners. We did not have any problems with them at all. At times, though, it appeared they were not very enthusiastic about their jobs. The campground is clean and well kept. They had a security guy right beside the entrance to make sure you did not go over 5 mph. The laundry room was clean and all equipment was in good condition. We stayed here because it was close to relatives. Rate includes Good Sam discount. The owner did not seem happy to give it to me but did not say anything. We would return.

Very tight turn getting into the campground with our 40' rig and tow. Very steep exit road. I went out the in since no one was coming in. Had a lot of wind when we arrived caused trees to block the satellite signal. Okay when wind died down. I would rate it good for overnight but not for a destination. Narrow road from interstate and narrow drive not great for big rigs but doable.

Good park. Planned on two nights but Tropical Storm Barry came through and we extended our stay. No problem with the office to do this. Interior roads are sand and since it rained a lot sand was pretty much everywhere. Entrance comes up on you pretty fast to turn in. The entrance road has several speed bumps that must be taken very slowly. Very few seasonals. We will return if staying in this area again.

This place is part of the "Best Parks In America" chain. It is not one of the best. The fifteen sites across the 'lake' were all seasonals. The campground needed the weeds/grass cut. The WiFi did not work at our site which was right next to the office. Had to go in and pay in the morning since the lady on the desk was not authorized to do credit cards. Sites were all under trees so satellite would not work. Besides the seasonals there was only one other RV in the place. May be okay for an overnight but it is not a destination. Close to interstate with easy off/on. We will probably not go back. Rate includes Good Sam discount.
