This was my first time at Vanderpool Campground. The manager/operator was very helpful. There were 14 travel trailers, fifth wheels, and one motor home all of which appeared to be long term. Some of these had the usual accumulation of extra stuff outside. All sites were full hookup, 20, 30, 50, water, sewer, cable and pretty level. Gravel sites some with concrete pads and some wooden decks. I was on site 8 and was able to use my Direct TV dish. There was a laundry and bath house also. I will return and use this campground in the future as it is open year round. Overall a great little campground.
This is an old mobile home park which is converting to RV sites. No bath house, swimming pool, etc. There were only 50 amp hookups at each site but owner let me borrow a 50 to 30 amp adapter. Great for our purpose of needing a campground near Raleigh for the weekend.
This was one of the campgrounds in our Coast To Coast membership. It's a large spread out campground so there are lots of choices. Each site is full hookup and has a concrete pad and wooden deck with picnic table. Sites do vary in length but I'm sure there is one that fits your need. My wife fell in love with this campground. We have stayed here twice already.
A great ocean front campground. Full hookup and concrete pads. We were there after the main season so some of the bath houses were closed but that was not a problem. Across the street is the sound side campground. I'll be back when in the area again.
A great campground. Nice and quiet. All the roads are paved. The pull through sites are huge with packed level gravel. Back in sites are large also. Full hook up at all sites. Should not be a problem if you have Direct TV. The bath house was new and clean. Shower stalls were big enough for the whole family. Wi-fi worked well also. I'll be back as I have a son living in Lenior City.
