Cleanest, nicest bathrooms we have ever experienced at a KOA. Site nicely shaded with trees and oleander bushes. Over 70 cable channels, good WiFi and. 4G Verizon cell service. Well stocked store. New electrical service in our row (#113) meant solid 120 volts even though weather quite warm and everyone running their ac. Super front office...friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again.
Beautiful pools and grounds don't make up for several problems during visit. Dangerously low voltage (111-112 volts) meant power failure when AC, frig, and microwave on at same time. Voltage that low can ruin electronic equipment and RV systems. Hot water in shower turned cold after 3 minutes. $6 a day for Internet. Limited cable channels. Oasis resort is Vegas glitz with some underlying problems.
Beautiful setting with lots of trees and grass. Sites farthest from office are well spaced. Clean bathrooms and spacious showers. We could not get cell service but 5 miles up a canyon didn't expect it. Wi-Fi very fast (72 Mbps). Nice pool and good store. Would definitely stay here again.
As others have said, the staff is excellent. The park is a gravel parking lot, but clean and maintained. Sites too close together for any private space but pull-throughs are wide and long enough. Restrooms kept clean. Office well stocked. Would stay here again.
Best Wi-Fi of any park we've ever experienced. Up to 65 Mbps. Owners have started to combine some sites so there is much more room between units. We were in #27 and had a separate parking area for the towed. Baths and showers clean, but like many older places showers need some preventive maintenance and to be expanded. Almost impossible to turn around in one. Excellent walking trail for dogs and people. Lots of shade trees. Ice cream available each evening. Close to town. Would definitely stay here again.
Basic campground with a few trees but mostly open gravel spots. Had a pull-through that was almost too short for 30 foot RV and towed. Biggest problem: an overwhelming smell of sewage on the evening we were there. Noticed a sewer holding pond right behind campground. Not sure if that was the source but we had to keep all windows closed and AC on to block smell. Just horrible. Would never stay here again.
The owners love this property and it shows. The planting and maintenance are absolutely first rate. We were told the owners planted 4,000 trees over the last 27 years, so the campground is beautiful. Flowers everywhere. Showers are sparkling clean. WiFi is strong. Verizon is 3-4G strength. Very friendly and engaged staff. One of the prettiest KOA sites we have ever stayed at. Our rate reflects water and electric only plus GS discount for a pull through. We would absolutely stay here again.
Older campground with lots of trees and lakefront. Sites well spaced but tight for bigger rigs or with a towed. Restroom/shower building small and old. Clean but needs updating. Excellent off leash dog park. Weak WiFi and no 4G Verizon coverage.
Expensive but very pretty and nicely done resort. Sites have shade and grass. Biggest problem is too few showers and bathrooms for number of sites, otherwise would have rated higher. Wi-Fi slow but solid signal, cell service very spotty due to canyon walls. Our site (34) just barely long enough for our 30 foot rig and towed. Would stay again.
Good stopping place for a night. Quite close to I-70. No shade but only a short walk to the Colorado River. Small but pretty deck behind office...best place for Wi-Fi connection. Dump station available. At 6400 feet gets nippy at night, even in mid July.
Would have rated higher but constant train whistles overnight interrupted sleep. Our site (B2) was near office so had decent Wi-Fi. Some sites had good shade, others were in the open. Very clean shower rooms and modern bathrooms. Nice pool that was used by many. A few miles from town but felt quite rural. Restaurant on site only served on weekends. Would stay again, but with earplugs for the trains.
Very nice site (14) with large yard overlooking river. Restrooms and showers spotless and roomy. Only negative was shipbuilding yard across river...occasional manufacturing noises, but generally not a problem. Grocery store, hardware store, and laundromat 1 minute away. The best city park we have ever experienced. Would absolutely stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a sewer problem that was handled quickly. Site nicely shaded. Bathrooms clean but could use an upgrade. Only one dumpster made for long walk to get rid of trash. Very convenient for all points on western side of Door County. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful park. Sites are well spaced so plenty of room. Lake is good for fishing. Walking trail around most of lake is great exercise. Our site was high up overlooking lake. Camp hosts keep the park clean and well-patrolled. Entrance gate to park closed after 10pm. Because it is a joint venture between the state and the Federal government all facilities are clean and modern. Stayed four nights. Would absolutely stay here again.
Very nice park. Well maintained and clean. Employees very nice and helpful. Maintenance man repaired our 30 amp plug that had a problem. Restrooms/showers in the main building have been recently remodeled. Older facilities in a separate building: aging but clean and work well. No cable but large satellite TV unit in the clubhouse. Cell service and WiFi are strong. Spots level with pad and picnic table. Several with large shade trees. Mostly long term seasonal RVers but some spots for short term stays. We would absolutely stay here again.
Some sites appear to not be level and others are tight. We needed to make some adjustments for our 30 footer. But, overall, park is well run and clean. Nice staff. Showers excellent. Well stocked store with some basic groceries. Lots of trees and not much street noise. A few miles east of downtown. Our site did not have cable. That would have raised the rate a few dollars a night. Several nature trails and a good off-leash doggie area. We stayed two nights and would stay again.
I would give higher rating if th price were a bit lower. Level gravel sites on the main street with any store you might desire nearby. Lots of shade trees. No pool or spa. Clean showers, though each stall is small. Off-leash dog area at the far end of the park past the 55+ manufactured home retirement section. Friendly office staff. The park is well maintained. We would stay again.
Unattractive older park with very basic facilities. Restrooms and showers in back of park dingy. Office "store" a joke. Had a handful of items. Counter help not friendly or helpful. No cable available at site we used (H). Park full the night we stayed. Lots of long term campers. We would not stay again.
Has its own observatory with 16" telescope. Free nightly star shows. Also ham radio station for licensed amateurs. Sites level with picnic table. Sites are roomier than many parks. Very nice pool and hot tub area. Showers quite clean. Close enough to train tracks to hear every one, and there are a lot. After a while didn't really notice whistles, but if you are a light sleeper be aware. Would stay again.
Very basic older park. Sites level gravel. Restaurant on site serves dinner 6 nights a week. Good Wi-Fi. Gift shop well stocked. Didn't use showers. The appear clean but rust on pipes and needs upgrade. Fine for one night. Quiet.
Very friendly front office people. Great gift store on property. Indoor pool and hot tub. Clean but cover on hot tub almost too heavy for two adults to remove. Showers clean. Off leash pet area is small but close to most sites. Excellent Wi-Fi throughout park. Site level with picnic table and privacy fence. We stayed one night and would stay again.
Poor Wi-Fi coverage. Had to sit in office to get decent signal. Showers clean but old and very much in need of remodel. Has on site cafe with limited menu for breakfast and dinner but since 5 miles from town it comes in handy. The pool wasn't open for the season during our visit so hard to judge. There is no hot tub. Would probably not stay here again.
Good off-leash area for dogs. Quiet and well-maintained. Nice hot tub and pool area. Showers clean. Water pressure high. They warn you to use a regulator so we did and had no problems. One block away from RV store for supplies or repairs. Spent one night. Would stay again.
Would have rated higher if bathroom remodels had been finished. Shower area partially torn up waiting to be finished. Clean but small. We had a great site with plenty of large trees and area to put our chairs. Sites close together. Back-ins require a little skill. 2 miles from town. Spent 6 nights. Would definitely stay here again
Excellent Nature Center in park. Sites nicely spaced so there is a good sense of privacy. Rest rooms and showers were sparkling clean. Plenty of hiking trails to explore. Nestled in hills so very quiet and away from any city lights.
This park is mostly filled with permanent residents. There are only a few overnight spots that are not very attractive. Some of the full time spots could use some cleaning up and better maintenance. Convenient to Fools Hollow State park and Show Low shopping. Otherwise, not much to recommend it.
Friendly owners who maintain their small park very well. Well stocked supply store. Showers and restrooms as clean as any we have seen. There is a dog washing area and an off-leash run. Free coffee every morning. Plenty of videos to rent and a nice common room with TV and sofas. About 10 minutes from downtown Flagstaff and close to hiking and biking trails.
Site #110 is a nice level spot, right across from restrooms and showers. There are several easy hiking trails that were pet friendly. Beautiful view of lights of Cottonwood and the town of Jerome on the mountainside. Only a few minutes from Tuzigoot National Monument. Three lagoons for fishing or picnicking. Park is clean and well maintained. Only reason it's not a 10 is no sewer hookup on site, but dump station easy and convenient.
