Based on the friendliness of the staff when making our reservation, we had high hopes for this campground. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The area of the park we stayed in seemed to have many long-term (semi-permanent) residents with accumulated clutter. The pull-through space was easy to access, but was not near level. The restrooms were dirty. We noticed when pulling out in the morning, that the area of the park we stayed in was worse than others. The west side of the park was clean and appeared well maintained. It is too bad the same level of care was not uniformly applied.
This is a well-run, well-maintained park right on the Yellowstone River. Our pull-through spot was easy to access and level. The grass buffers with picnic tables between spaces gave us plenty of room to lounge outside. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The club house with pool table, foosball, laundry, and showers was impeccably clean. The park is a short drive south of Livingston and only a half hour from Gardiner and Yellowstone's north gate. We spent four nights and enjoyed every minute. We will definitely stay at Yellowstone's Edge again.
