We stayed here for the location close to Cleveland (about 30 min drive). It is a mobile home park with RV sites available. The sites are located next to a garden center. So we did smell the fertilizer and heard the trucks. Basically just a place to stay. No amenities to speak of. The utilities all worked well. Site was gravel & cement pad with a picnic table. Roads are asphalt but are in need of repair. As I said convenient to Cleveland. Nice office manager. I guess I would stay there if in the area.
Rate based on monthly. We love the Poconos. So much to do in the area. The weather is always pleasant. It's not far to visit friends and relatives on Long Island. The campground is gated with a card key. The roads inside the park are narrow but passable. There are seasonal campers here, Most of them came on weekends. Very quiet during the week. The site itself was shaded, grass and gravel. We did fit in our 39 ft RV but it was an adventure backing in. WiFi was excellent as was cell. Owners are helpful. Would be returning when we're in the area.
Rate reflects RPI discount plus cable. Roads are good, paved going into and around the campground. Sites are gravel and grass. Good phone service. Wi-Fi only at office. Good cable. All utilities fine. Nicely laid out. Security great. Wooded where we were. So shaded, we couldn't set up satellite but as I said cable was great. The site was just wide and long enough. It was close but not as bad as other places. II would stay there again if in the area.
Pros: sites are a good size (wide & long enough). Gravel with grass. Roads are paved they are windy & steep (especially on the way out). Good WiFi, cell service & cable. We were able to set up our satellite without a problem. Cons: really nothing to do inside the campground except the pool, which is a long way down the hill. There are activities mostly for children. Lots of permanent residents at another area. They didn't bother us. I don't have children but they charge per child so I wouldn't call it family friendly. There are places to walk your dog but no off the leash Park. This park is fine for a couple of nights (as most people take advantage of the tour bus to NY or the closest to the train station). We were there for 2 weeks because of it being close to family. It was OK, but not sure I'd go back.
Pros: Location. We were there visiting with friends who have a house in the area. Clean and quiet. The sites were long enough (just) but we could fit the truck next to the trailer since it was wide. Grass and gravel sites. Slow or non existent Wi-Fi. Cell service fine. Utilities were OK (we only hooked up our water and electric). We found out the sewer connection was stuck on departure. They had a guy come out to fix it. But we decided not to dump the tanks after all. Cons: Windy roads inside the campground. But we were able to get around. No dog run, but there is a big grassy field. Can't say much else about it since most of the day we were visiting our friends. I think I would go back. People who we did meet were very friendly. Good location.
Pros: This place is well managed. The sites are back to front connections (like that so you don't look at the connections out your front door). Very long sites. Some sites are close, but ours was great (on the end). Gravel and grass. Wi-Fi, cell service great. Utilities great. Activities on the weekends are fun. Close to the interstate but no noise. Cons: This is why I only gave it an 8. No real dog run but places to walk them (they are going to have a dog run next year). There are some seasonal people here and day workers (but they are closed as of Dec 1), so its deserted during the day. Nothing really to do in the campground during the day (there is a small pond to fish or canoe). If we're in the area we'd come back.
Sites are long and wide enough, although ours was cut off by the electric hub. Grass and gravel. Clean. Wi-Fi is nonexistent. Cell service varied. Poor management: We had a water hookup that was only one outlet. We were told to use our Y. Also when I asked about the hot spot I was told everyone complains. You hear the interstate noise. Lots of day workers so the place is deserted during the day. There were activities during the weekend but not generally posted. Won't be back
This place is called a resort. No way. It's a dump. The roads are narrow & difficult to navigate We had to parallel Park our big 5th wheel. Thank goodness someone helped my husband because there was no way I could do it. We were thinking about leaving & finding somewhere else. But once we did get in we just stayed. What Lake? It's a pond. You are supposed to muzzle a dog over 40lbs. But I saw dogs without leashes. We were close to the park across the street where we walked our dogs so we just kept them close. The only positive was that we never had to pay for the balance of our stay. Never go back.
Sites are very small. Not big rig friendly at all. We barely fit. Location is next to a Walgreens & across from the main post office. Not really pet friendly since the grass area was a strip of grass next to the medium. Lots of toads& carriers parked there. There was a small patch of grass next to one of the community rooms. I don't know why it says it's kid friendly it is not. A lot of residents aren't friendly to passers through. Pros the staff is very friendly. Wouldn't come back.
