This is a somewhat scruffy place with RVs parked very close to one another. Having said that, there was a car show on the peninsula, so we were lucky to get anywhere to stay. The park was full. We used our hotspot for Wi-Fi. The cable was fine with Fox News offered. The park backs onto the dunes so it is a short walk to a gorgeous beach. However, watch out for quickly descending fog in the mornings.
This RV facility works well for us because it is close to the town and camping is offered at a reasonable price. The fact that some bays have 50 amp electric is a bonus. The sites are paved and mostly shaded, and water is available. There is a dump nearby. The restroom facilities are minimal, there being curtains across the toilets. However, they were reasonably clean. There is cable hookup, but we only managed to get one channel. We used our antenna for TV instead.
This park was a nice surprise. Although there are a lot of them, the RV sites are spacious, with shady trees and well kept grounds. The area is quiet and everything worked well for us. We may return if the opportunity arises. There's a disused rail bed on a levee around one side of the park. It serves as a great place to walk in the evening.
This is a large RV Park with a lot of pads in a relatively small area. Having said that, it is not a "parking lot" and has large shady trees. It is just that we felt a little more confined than we had expected. Wi-Fi worked and cable service offered Fox News which was great. If you do not have a car, it isn't far to walk to town. My main source of disappointment was the Laundry. For such a large RV park, and the that fact that the laundry is open to the public, 4 washers are inadequate along with 8 dryers, 2 of which were "Out of Order".
This was a really great park. Check in was efficient. Our pad was level and pleasant. The grounds were immaculate - beautifully maintained. The bathroom facilities and showers were very clean and well appointed.
