Christian based campground. No alcohol allowed. Lots of things to do. Great programming during summer months. Swim area is well designated in lake. Horseback riding available. Staff very helpful. Dump station easy to maneuver.
My family enjoyed our stay at the facility. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to change sites when a different site opened up without hesitation. The pools were a great relief from the heat and the kids enjoyed them.
Campground is kept clean and the kids enjoyed the playground area, hay ride and leprechaun hunt. Sites still had plenty of grass for being late in season. The campground could use an upgraded electrical system as 20 amp service is the norm, however, the price would then reflect the increase. By the end of busy weekends the two dumpsters are full to overflowing. The single lane for the dump station can cause long delays in departure, but there is the option of having your tanks pumped out at your site for a fee. Owners are very friendly and respectful.
Park was very clean with recently asphalted roads. The pull trough sites generally run in opposite direction allowing for companion sites when camping with friends. Our site was long enough for my extended cab truck, 33' fifth wheel and mini-van without crowding the roadway. The owners and staff were very friendly and the assistance with getting onto our site was appreciated. The site was generally level, but depending on where you set your rig on the site assigned, bringing some boards to finish level a good idea. Our family had a great time at the campground and the surrounding area. Will definitely camp here again.
Nice having planned activities for kids. We have been going the weekend after Labor Day for a few years now. This weekend is planned as a Halloween weekend with trick-or-treating on Saturday night. The facility has both a wading pool and swimming pool. The playground is also good for the kids.
Owners are very helpful and friendly. For winter camping it is very convenient that there is propane tank fill on the facility and the owner will help with pick-up and delivery of tanks to site. At last use, the indoor pool was not yet complete. The water is turned off to sites around the end of October depending on weather and potable water fill on arrival is not easily accessible.
