Received a brochure in the mail and thought it looked like a fun place. Was an OK resort, but not my cup of tea. We were challenged by low branches and narrow dirt roads in a 43 ft motorhome. Very unlevel site. No concrete pads; all sites are dirt/sand and very rural feel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store and pool were busy. Majority of campers were 5th wheelers with young children. It was the day after 4th of July so it was quite warm outside thus the lake was bathwater warm. Our teenagers were bored with the single water slide, but thrilled with the bats flying around while they roasted marshmallows.

Park aka Juno Ocean Walk. Very few sites available for RVs as it is actually a senior mobile home park. We stayed here on an overnight stop. Office hours are unusual so be warned if you are checking in after 2 PM. Thankfully I received a call with detailed instructions when the office decided to close early. It was difficult to maneuver our 43 ft due to the numerous cars parked by residents. The site was nice with concrete pad, water view and very clean. Juno beach is beautiful, but certainly not within walking distance (up and down the hills), if you are carrying anything more than a towel and sunscreen. The pool is very large and has a chiller. Adequate laundry facilities and very pretty grounds. Would not recommend if you have children as there is not much to do other than the pool. We have family in the area so we will stay here again. The residents we met were very nice.

After reading mixed reviews I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by this resort and we stayed an extra day. After spending time in town during the day or out deep sea fishing and snorkeling, it was always great to come back to the resort to relax. The pool area is wonderful with a chiller on the pool, tropical music playing and a big screen in the tiki hut. Two laundry rooms each with 4 commercial washers and dryers came in very handy. Well stocked gift shop with friendly staff. We were never concerned about leaving our grill, chairs, bikes, etc outside while we were out for the day. 24 hour security. We stayed waterfront for a few days, but had challenges with the amperage so we moved to an inland site. There was plenty of room on both sites for 43 ft motorhome with slides. Good restaurants within walking distance. Really enjoyed this resort.

If you want absolute quiet and relaxation this is the place. This is not the place if you are looking for nightlife and excitement nearby. We splurged on a waterfront site with dock and loved it. We easily maneuvered our 43 ft motorhome over paved asphalt roads onto large concrete pad. The staff were professional and down home friendly. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The resort offered three pools all were quiet due to low season and were clean and well kept. The best sunset we experienced was at this resort. Rent a boat, go fishing or just relax. Perfect place to get away from it all! Can't wait to go back.

Great location. Walk to beach, good restaurants, and shopping. We arrived after hours and were assisted by professional security staff. Nice pool. Sites were large enough for large motorhome, but be mindful of palm trees if you need room for slides. Pavers and concrete pads are a welcome amenity. We will stay here again.

We stayed here for an overnight stop. Staff was courteous. Grounds were clean and well cared for. Easy to get in and out. Campsite fit our 43 foot with three slides and had room to spare. Great site for the cost. Will stay here again.

Sadly we were disappointed in this campground and left early. We had high hopes after reading the Good Sam and Woodall ratings. The trees hang so low at the entrance to the park that they ripped off our solar panel and broke one of our rooftop ACs. When we showed it to the ladies at the registration desk they said there was nothing they could do and that I should call Hillsboro County to complain because that was county property. No help whatsoever. Every single item we inquired about was met with discontent. In addition the water hookup was broken and had obviously been mis-repaired more than once. They offer kayaking, but did everything possible to try and keep our two 18 year olds from going. I agree with a previous reviewer I too believe we were mistreated because we were not seniors. This may be a good park for seniors, but if you do not fall in that category steer clear and save yourself a lot of hassle.
