We only stayed here for 1 night but it was a very nicely laid out RV park. The sites were large and nicely treed. The only drawback were the mosquitoes. They were the worst we had ever encountered. We had a back-in site and my wife had her usual job of directing me in, but as I looked at her in the camera it looked like she wanted me to to go up and down rather than right or left as she waved her arms up and down to try to chase the bugs away. In all fairness Manitoba had received a major dump of rain, which probably accounted for the increase in mossies. In the morning we saw people out for their morning walk wearing bug hats.
We stayed here for 5 days and quite enjoyed our stay. The staff had to be the friendliest of any private park we have stayed at. We also found that the prices in the store were very reasonable from basic food items to sweatshirts. It is only a few kilometers from Thunder Bay made this location ideal for sightseeing and shopping. We would highly recommend this park if you are in the area.
One of the nicest provincial parks we have stayed at. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very impressed with the comfort station which was not only exceptionally clean but boasted granite counter tops. Lovely beach and incredibly clear water. Lots of hiking trails and a very nice playground for younger kids. About 40 kms from Dryden but we found that Vermillion Bay which is 9kms away offered a lol the shopping that we needed. Would definitely stay here again
