My family has been coming to this park for years, and it is a very popular park. I was a little confused where to register as you have to go to Live Oaks park first as it's now part of the state park. It's a great state park, but the roads leading into the park are terrible after it rains. As popular as this park is one would think they could do a better job maintaining the roads.

Sardine style RV park. Kept having to move my tow vehicle when a neighbor came in. Side by side hookups and very poor Wi-Fi. Manager was friendly but not very personable. I've RVed over 40 years and this was the most packed-in RV park I've ever seen or been in. $1.75/liter diesel nearby so don't show up on empty. Park has all the "amenities" like cable, Wi-Fi, hookups, etc. but the straight in parking lot ruined the whole thing for me. Less than a foot space between my slide and the neighbor's. There were a couple parks outside of town I would go to first. The town should be ashamed of this park as it's a blatant gouging of RVers.

Brand new park as of June 2011 just west of Saskatoon...which was sorely needed in that area. Owner manager was very nice and the park has brand new sod, hookups, and trees. About a half mile off the highway so noise wasn't an issue. Park has Wi-Fi transmitters all over so good Internet (free). Ten minute drive to Saskatoon town center. Grass sites spaced nicely with customized fire pits. Brand new showers and laundry room and RV store. Only drawback is I really tried not to run over sprinkler heads with the 5th wheel...but it's hard to miss them coming in with a trailer. Watch carefully for entrance signs coming from the west. Definitely enjoyed our stay there for 3 nights.
