We got to stay here twice this summer, once in June and once in July. Even though the wind forever blows, the sites are tight no wider than the width of your extended awning and you're basically camping in a parking lot, those of us who fight for those few spots year after year absolutely love it.

We love this place. It's a little bit of paradise out in the middle of the Nevada desert. There are shaded sites, lake, fishing, swim lagoon, swimming pool, paddle boats, gas station/grocery mart, casino with a reasonably good food buffet. It is within driving distant to other casinos, movie theater in Pahrump and even within an hours drive to Vegas. We will definitely stay here again.

We were in Anacapa, which is dry camping, site #9. We love it. We have stayed here for the last 20 years and even though Reserve America makes it harder and harder to get reservations, its worth it.

I'm reviewing The Bluffs only. Total dry camping. Bathrooms but no showers. We couldn't see the ocean. As the name implies, the camp sites are up on the bluff, if we wanted to get to the water we would have had to hike down approximately 50' down a very steep path, as we are disabled we didn't even attempt this. We stayed here only 2 nights, probably won't stay here again.

Excellent! Full hook ups at a state beach, rare, people were nice, sites are large, other campers respectful, close to San Clemente Pier, Laguna Beach and many area attractions. Have stayed here many times before and will definitely stay here again.

Dry Camping only, no hook ups, however, we have stayed here many times and this was the first time we actually got an ocean side site #11 and we loved it. Our site was large enough so we could park our 36' motorhome parallel to the ocean. Everyday we got to see the sun set on the ocean. Carlsbad is a wonderful town to explore as well. We will definitely go back.

Rural, dry-camping. Our site 65 was awful, no where near the ocean, across from the old dump station, next to the freeway and not even wide enough for our awning to open. On the plus side, its Reserve America state beach: cheap and woodsy. Just choose your campsite carefully. We may or may not stay here again.

Love it. Love it. Love it. We've been staying here at Flying Flags for over 10 years and have watched it progressively get better. Although a little pricey, it is THE only place to stay while visiting Solvang, the mission and oh yes, the Indian Casino east on 246. Clean, spacious sites, nicely stocked store, excellent personnel, nice bathrooms, hot good water pressure showers and lots of activities. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Excellent location, close to Old Town Sacramento, which we were very interested in. Not a lot of fluff, but we read this sites reviews and didn't expect a lot of fluff. Office personnel were very nice and helpful. Store had a pretty good selection of basics and extras. We would definitely stay here again.
