We almost did not visit this site due to the mixed reviews about level pitches etc. However, we were glad we did visit and can confirm that 90% of the pitches are NOT level. We were in our 40' Motorhome and our front wheels were about 5" clear of the ground to get the rig level. However, the lady manager was very pleasant and helpful. The restrooms, showers, pool and hot tub were spotlessly clean and the services all worked well with the exception of the Wi-Fi which was poor. The manager advised us that they were " having some issues with the connection between the incoming supply and the Wi-Fi router". There were no picnic tables and the area outside the RV door was basically just an overgrown weedy/wildflower ? area. However, we would return here again if we were in the area.
This is a very nice resort. Our site was spacious, yet gave us privacy. The facilities are good and the security is excellent. The Wi-Fi (additional charge, was excellent) . Whilst we would return in the winter, we would not re-visit in the summer, as there seems to be a distinct lack of consideration for the few guests who were there. We were using the golf course daily until they decided to close it for maintenance, for four days, without giving us any warning whatsoever. Furthermore, the pool furniture was removed. This is why we rate it a 5.
The campground is ideal for an overnight stay. Very long pull throughs. Wi-Fi was good. There were a lot of resident campers here although that didn't bother us as they were in a separate part of the campground to us. Would return .
Staff very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of resident campers but that didn't bother us. Site was a bit tight but we managed to get our 4 slides out. I would imagine it could be a bit muddy in the rain. RV park is very quiet. We found it ideal for an overnight stay.
Really nice RV park. Not too many sites but plenty of room on each one. We had a site overlooking the lake which had a path leading down to the lake. Beautiful golf course and plenty of lake activities. Well worth the visit and we would definitely return.
A really nice RV resort. It became a KOA this year and is the best one we have stayed at. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Plenty of space on each site, the views are great. Full hook ups, clean showers, and restrooms. WiFi was touch and go. There is a play area, pavilion, and swimming pool. The park very close to the town and Luray Caverns which are well worth a visit. Would definitely stay here again.
Very large KOA. Sites have long pull through with grass and picnic table. Some sites have a hot tub. We found the Wi-Fi wasn't very good. There is a large fishing lake: catch and release. Exercise machines, laundry and the reception/shop was very good. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely return.
Staff very friendly. Good sized pitches with picnic tables. We were at the top of the hill which had beautiful views of Central City, although it can be windy! There are 2 indoor spa tubs, lounge area and a good size laundry. A shuttle bus from the campsite takes you down to Central City if you wish, not sure how regular they are. Not far to drive into town, approx 1 mile. Would definitely return.
Campground is approximately 6 miles from Casper. Gravel sites quite wide with long pull throughs. Cable TV and Wi-Fi was good. Has indoor hot tub and pool which was cold when we went to use it for the first time, one member of staff didn't seem bothered when we told her. She seemed more concerned with wanting to go home! Ok for an overnight stay.
Long gravel site but not very wide. Plenty of trees for shade. Cable TV and Wi-Fi which we found not very good. Clean restrooms and showers. Campground close to local shops and restaurants. Occasional train noise but it didn't bother us. We would return.
Gravel sites which can be quite dusty in the wind. Clean showers and restrooms. Site has a restaurant and bar. There is an outdoor swimming pool and indoor hot tub. Cabins on site. Wi-Fi very good. Had no cable TV. The site is approx 20 miles from Cody and 30 miles from Yellowstone East Gate. We would stay here again.
Large tidy park. Close to West Yellowstone National Park gate. Gravel and concrete sites. We stayed on a premium site which had plenty of room. Restrooms and showers very clean also has good laundry rooms. Wi-Fi not too good. Has cable TV. You can walk into town which has local supermarket, restaurants and shops. Would return.
Very large RV park. Staff very friendly. There is a swimming pool and tub. Golf courses nearby. No cable and we found the Wi-Fi wasn't very good. Restrooms and showers clean. Ideal for an overnight stay.
Staff very friendly. Sites have plenty of shade.Village store has everything you need. Visitor center and restaurants all within walking distance. Fuel pumps at entrance to campground village. It was nice to do some good hikes in the park without having to drive anywhere. Would return.
We found the staff to be very friendly. The site is close to the town of Manti, which has a magnificent Temple. Site is located on the historic Heritage Highway 89 in Manti. There is a swimming pool and covered hot tub. The Wi-Fi was not very good. Ideal for an overnight stay.
Nice clean, tidy RV Park. Wide gravel sites some with cable. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Clean restrooms and showers. Close to Page shops and restaurants. We found the Wi-Fi not very good unless you sat outside the pool area. We would return.
Neat and tidy RV park. Ideal for overnight stop as it's close to I-40. There's also a Petro which you can walk to from the site and get a decent meal. Wi-Fi good and there's cable TV. Very clean showers and restrooms. Also accommodates horses as there are stables on site. We would stay here again.
A lot of people staying who exhibit or visit Fairplex Stadium. Sites quite close together but some do have shade by the trees. Clean restrooms and showers. Good size swimming pool and hot tub. Good TV but wifi not so good. Ideal for a couple of nights stay.
Very large, tidy RV resort. Sites are wide and spacious. Staff friendly. Secure site with gate. Large swimming pool and spa near reception along with a putting green and other activities, another pool and spa by exercise room and clubhouse. Wi-Fi very good. They have cable TV at some sites. The resort is close to shops, restaurants and London Bridge. We found the resort to be very quiet and relaxing when we were here in May. We would return.
Nice RV park. Long pull through sites. Showers and restrooms were very clean. Good sized swimming pool and hot tub. Has an exercise room. TV was good but WiFi not so good. Site was close to a main road which you can hear sometimes although it didn't bother us. We would return.
What a really beautiful RV park resort. Definitely the best we have stayed at. Lovely long, wide sites some overlooking lake. We stayed on a site overlooking lake and golf course and found it to be very relaxing. The park has a par 3 golf course, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, putting green. On site restaurant very good. Very friendly staff, security 24 hours. Lawns and sites very well manicured. You do have to pay for Wi-Fi. Has cable TV. Site approx. 4 miles from I-10. Would definitely return.
Very nice RV park located in Bryce Valley with beautiful surroundings . Good size pitches with fire pit and full hook up. Close to Bryce Canyon. Clean restrooms, showers and bath! Wi-Fi good. No cable TV but we had satellite. Nice pool. The only thing we missed was a hot tub after a long hike! Staff very helpful. We stayed here a week and was sorry to leave. Would definitely return.
The RV park is close to a State Fairground which wasn't a problem. There are quite a few residents on site. Pitches are close to each other but good for parking a tow vehicle. Park has a swimming pool and spa, clean restrooms good Wi-Fi and cable TV. They run a shuttle bus to Temple Square every hour. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The RV park is close to a noisy road, we asked to be moved and the staff were very prompt to find us another site away from the road. There is a hot tub and swimming pool. Park is close to Twin Falls town for restaurants, shops and we played golf in the canyon. Would return.
A really nice RV park. Very clean, tidy and well looked after. Large pull-through sites with full hook ups. Wi-Fi good as is cable TV. Staff very friendly and escort you to your site. Good outside pool and spa. There is also an exercise room, large library and social lounge. The restrooms are immaculate you have your own toilet, shower and bath mat! Cannot fault this RV park. Would definitely return.
Very large RV park with long pull throughs and full hook ups. Staff very friendly. Immaculate pool and hot tub. Restrooms very clean. You could hear trains in the distance. Ideal for an overnight stay. We would stay here again.
There are a few bends in the road up hill to this campsite but well worth the trip. Very friendly and helpful staff. NO train noise! We stayed on a back in full hook up 50amp gravel site. Clean restrooms and showers. 20 minutes on the other side of river to Cascade Locks. Would return.
Price reflects our Thousand Trails membership. Ideal location for Ilwaco, Seaview, and Long Beach. Wi-Fi available in office/trailer. Nice path that leads to the beach. Sites were very close together. We thought the campground felt a bit tired.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at the front of the rv park on a large back up site, with full hook-ups. They did have long pull-throughs at the back on grass opposite residents. The showers were closed when we stayed but we didn't have a problem with that. Sited opposite local supermarket and hardware store. You can walk to restaurants and town from the park. Quite near road but it didn't disturb us. Would stay here again.
Pitches very close together and well shaded. The site is very well maintained. The two restrooms/showers were clean but there was a wait a couple of times before you could use them. Wi-fi quite good as was cable TV. Ideal location to catch ferry to Seattle which is 8 miles away. Would return.
Beautiful campground, our pull through site overlooked the river. Lovely swimming pool and we thought the campground was immaculate. Family owned who were very friendly people. Wireless internet was very good. Would return.
We found the staff very friendly. Good sites but some are very narrow as were the roads leading to the sites. Has a river and a gravel beach down the hill from the campsites. We stayed for one night but would stay longer.
We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The sites were very close together and close to highway 101 which at times could be very noisy! The campsite is convenient for Wal-Mart, Costco and local shops. Wi-Fi was one of the best we have had on a campsite.
We stayed on a long pull-through site but found it slightly narrow. The campground has a spa, outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, 9-hole golf course, driving range and sports bar where we had a very nice meal. Unfortunately the WiFi is not good. Ideal for an overnight stay. Would return.
Good sites overlooking Pacific Ocean but very close together. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for San Francisco by BART train close by. Campground close to local shops and restaurants. Would return.
This is like a large parking lot with services. When we arrived it was 30% occupied and we were allocated a site next to the electric sub-station. Why do they do this?. However, when we arrived at our site there had been a spillage of Grey water and the smell was atrocious!. When I asked to be reallocated I was told that the site was very busy for the weekend and they would see what they could do. We were moved a couple of spaces along. We stayed the whole weekend and the site was never more than 30% full. Why do they have nice sites and keep them vacant while allocating the less attractive sites to paying customers? Having said all that, the site is convenient for downtown Pleasanton, which is very attractive and there is very little choice of RV sites in the area. There are no restrooms on site.
Rate reflects Thousand Trails membership. This is one of the better TT sites we stayed on. Good size pull throughs. Good swimming pool. Gravel roads are a little dusty but no different to lots of other California sites. Lots of local wineries for tasting. Close to outlets at Gilroy. Would stay here again.
The nightly rate reflects our Thousand Trails membership. This site is very tired. The staff appear to do as they wish. Lots of rules and regulations, most of which were not enforced. If it was not for our membership, we would not stay here again. Neglected is probably the best way to describe the site. Verizon and T-Mobile had no reception.
The price reflects membership. Good secure site. We unhooked car as the road to this RV park is very narrow. Was plenty of room between sites. Has a very nice swimming pool. Adults only 10.00-11.00am and 3.00-4.00pm. Spa is 18 and over at all times. Would return.
Nice RV park ideal for an overnight stay. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Has a large swimming pool and a good exercise room. has long pull-through sites. Friendly staff and there is free coffee and donuts! Would return.
Very friendly staff who escorted you to your site, which was a very long pullthrough. We didn't need to unhook the car. Ideal for an overnight stay. Pitches fairly close. Handy for I-80. Would stay again.
NOTE: This park has two sides and we stayed on the South side, which, (in our opinion) is 100% better than the north side (and $10 per night more). However, if you stay on the South side you can then use the pool and spa. The restrooms and showers are probably the best we have seen on any site we have stayed on. Absolutely immaculate. Large concrete sites: some are back-in, some are drive-in and some are pull through. Park is 2 miles from Arches N.P. and 2 miles from downtown Moab. We would stay here again.
This is an excellent park. Very long pull through's, spectacular views of mountains and about 10 miles from downtown Montrose. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. The rate reflects Passport America (we had the rate for 3 nights), so the non PA rate would be double this. Excellent value for money if you are a PA member.
This is a nice site about 3 miles north of Durango. We had a site in the line nearest to US550 north but we could barely hear the road. We had great views of the mountains and the Durango & Silverton Railway train as it passed (daytime only)! Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
The other reviews are accurate. Nice park with beautiful mountain views. Convenient to shopping and attractions. Paved level sites with solid hookups. Plenty of sidewalks for exercise and dog walking. The only down side is the WiFi is extra $$$ after a 4-hour initial trial, you have to use the 4 hours all at once! The swimming pool was closed for three days whilst we stayed here, which was a disapointment.
This is a great RV park. Close to Interstate 10 and shops /restaurants. The facilities are excellent with large private sites and the whole place is very clean. The only negative comment we could make is that they have a large hot tub and no swimming pool. With a swimming pool this would definitely be a 10/10. We will stay here again.
This is a good park for an overnight stop just off Interstate 10. As the name implies, the site is on the top of a hill overlooking the desert and mountains and can therefore be very windy. The lady in the office is very helpful. She told us that the TV reception was sometimes unreliable and she offered us the loan of DVD's should we wish to borrow them. We would stay here again.
We stayed here to visit the NASA Space Center which was about 35 miles away. Nice site but we choose a pull through site and these are very narrow. With four slideouts out, it was necessary to walk on the grass to access the coach. Some noise was suffered from the adjacent industrial works and also from the highway. However, the facilities were good, clean and all working and we would stay here again. However, we would choose a back in site which were much wider.
This is a great site. We would have given it a 10 but for the small amount of noise from Interstate I-10. Park is exceptionally clean and well cared for. We especially liked the fact that they had two hot tub and pool areas, and one was for adults only. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice park and we would have given it a 9 rating if it had sewer connections. However, it's still a nice park. The sites are blacktop and a little narrow but there is plenty of room around each site so once you are parked it just means that you exit the coach onto grass rather than blacktop. The staff here were friendly and helpful and the park itself is great for hiking, cycling and there is even a beach onto Lake Pontchartrain. It's about 40 miles to the French Quarter in New Orleans via a 24 mile bridge! ($3 toll). We stayed here on Memorial Weekend so the site was very busy but didn't feel overcrowded. Would stay here again.
This is a great site and the best State Park we have stayed at in Florida. Our site was large (concrete though some are gravel). Has full services and excellent bathrooms and showers. We would definitely stay here again. Located 12 miles form I-10 (from the east) and about 6 miles from I-10 (from the west). Great walks, canoeing , beaches and river swimming.
This is a nice quiet site with good spacing between rigs. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi which is supplied by Tengo. The wireless signal was good but the internet capability was very poor. I suspect it was a case of too many users and not enough broadband input. The Wi-Fi was down every time it rained. I would have given this a 10 out of 10 but for the Wi-Fi problems. As an aside, there are little or no beaches on Pine Island (and not much else) so a car is almost a necessity.
I can only reiterate what the other reviews say. This is our second stay here and it's a fantastic site. No other word for it. It is stated that the Wi-Fi only works in the clubhouse but we are on a site close to the club house and are using our laptops in the motor home. The price I have quoted was as a result of an offer which was "pay for 5 nights and stay for 7". The regular rate would be around $65. Will always stay here when in this area.
This site is currently joining the KOA network (and is being called Lake Okeechobee Outpost) but it's going to need a lot of staff training and some organizing! We were met with a sign which said "all vehicles must register at office before proceeding". However, there is no specific parking/waiting area and the staff cars were parked outside the office along with a large public transport coach. We were attended to in the office by a young lady who certainly doesn't understand customer service. Least said the better! The Wi-Fi that they advertise is only available in the office/reception area and during our stay, that closed at 4.30pm. The sites are lakefront and easy to access. The Tiki bar is unfinished and is not operational. Pahokee has no facilities and we wouldn't visit again even if there was no where else to go!
This was our second visit to this site. It was very crowded with minimum space between rigs. We were in a 40ft motor home and even with the campground welcoming host guiding me in It took ten minutes to get onto the site due to the close proximity of other cars and RV's. The bathroom facilities were shabby and at $87 per night, I can't help feeling that this site is way too expensive for what it offers. Wi-Fi was $4 per day additional too.
This is an excellent site, well located for the Interstate and one minute from the Natchez Trace Parkway. Shops and restaurants are one minute away. Good access, plenty of room for maneuvering. We pulled onto site with car in tow.
This is a nice park in a good riverside location though we felt that the bathroom facilities (if you need to use them) were poor. However, If you need wireless internet, you should be careful about which site you are on. We arrived on a cloudy. wet day and were placed on a "premium riverfront RV site". When we discovered that we could not get connected to the Wi-Fi, I asked at the office and was told by the young lady that "as it is a satellite based system, it doesn't always work in bad weather." However, when I moved nearer to the aerial and used my PC in the car, it worked!. So just be aware. Having said that, the staff in general were very pleasant and helpful and we would stay here again, but would pick our site to be nearer to the wireless aerial.
