When you check in be ready to legally sign away all of your rights and the rights of your entire family when on this property. It goes down hill from there.Semi's where idling next to our campsite at the steel factory next door (about 20 feet from our site). Then the factory was making noise until 8:30pm , then the biker bar kept us up until 1:30 A.M.. The bathrooms are clean. The security at the park is there to protect the park. Anyone can come and steal stuff, since there is no gate. The pool is secured by a 6 foot gate, security cameras and electric pool cover at night. This gives me the feeling that they have had problems, and the staff keeps repeating "This is a Metropolitan area" when asked about the noise level. This is the worst camping experience I have ever had. The cost was $50 for a family of 4. I will never stay here again and I will not recommend anyone ever stay here. The staff should disclose the problems at time of reservations, I you are still considering this park, ask the staff about the noise.

This State Park is nice. The bathrooms were clean, but the men's bathroom smelled. We were infested with caterpillars (300 or 400 on our camper). I was told this happens once every ten years. Their constant droppings sounded like rain. Most campers left. The sites are nice and I would stay again.

Our spot was level enough, but very tight. They had given away a site I had agreed to get, during the reservation process. It was much nicer and bigger, so be prepared for a bad site. Long walk to showers. Only 2 or 3 animals were out for petting. I would stay again, if I needed a place.

The toilets we leaking across the bathroom. The shower's were rusty. The place was generally broken down. At the front office broken trucks were parked on the grass and cars with no license plates were in the parking lot near the front door of the check-in building. Just scary. They run a haunted hay ride, it must be very scary. The clerk seemed more interested in making sure we knew what we couldn't do, than telling us about what we could do (for fun).
