Rate based on weekly stay. Been coming here for a couple of years and enjoy it. Some oak shaded sites for smaller rigs. Larger 50 amp sites are without trees. Walking distance to restaurants, grocer, bank, dollar store and hardware store. This is an older park that is well cared for and very clean. Bathrooms and showers were spotless no matter what time of the day we went in. Staff made us feel comfortable and special. No cable TV but a large clubhouse that has two TV's w/satellite. Good free internet. Good location in the hill country. Some road noise but all RV parks that I checked on within 30 miles, are on a busy street. This is the best. Will definitely go back.
Office staff were very friendly. Level, roomy site. We were in the paved area in the front. The back sites are in gravel. Good water pressure. Picnic table and two lounge chairs provided. Site had cigarette butts thrown about, which is the fault of the inconsiderate prior RV'ers that did not dispose of them properly. No noise problem from airport. Pretty creek flows on edge of park. Laundry room was clean and large. Walk to casino, restaurants, movie theater, bowling and free entertainment in casino. Have stayed here before and will come again.
Remote location out of town at the foot of a mountain. Gravel sites with nice views. Large back-in sites but narrow pull-throughs. I would not recommend this park for a large rig that needs a pull-through space. However highly recommended if you can back-in, you like peace and quiet and the beauty of the desert area. Its not for everyone.
Lovely sunset on the beach, easy walk from our water/electric site in the older part of the park (no cement pad). It was level, but a tight fit for our rig. Best value on a gorgeous beach. We only stayed one night but will certainly go back.
Very lovely park. Large shaded spaces. Families welcome, staff friendly. Great location away from town but still close to mega store and restaurants if needed. Gnats aka no-see-ums got us but that is expected near the marsh.
Remote and away from town. On the lake and crowded. Loud music playing near us. Park ranger had to go over a few times to get it turned down. Had a good breeze and pretty sunset. Cement driveways and picnic areas which have an awning above. Not big rig friendly. Only saw back-in sites and it was difficult to maneuver. Shower had no shower-head and little water pressure but it was large. Staff in office are very friendly and helpful. Would like to stay here again but will not in a big rig.
Very nice. Easy in and out, even in a big rig. Roomy level sites with plenty of shade. We stayed on the river side of the park. Water is easily accessible, cool and clean. There was only one other rig in our area so it was quiet. Deer all around. Some road noise heard outside but not too bad. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.
Staff not overly welcoming. Small spaces, dirt roads and picnic table falling apart. No fire ring. No privacy. Its on a hill so extremely unlevel. Had smell of sewage. Difficult for big rigs. Problems with 50amp power and Wi-Fi was down most of the time. Pool is supposed to have solar heating but was very cold and water was not clear. Playground area for kids is nice. They do allow pets on leash. About 10 miles from town which made it nice and quiet until police came in middle of night for a domestic disturbance. Will not stay here gain.
Clean park. Well maintained and has security. Very friendly staff. Craft and bingo nights. Fruit, danish and coffee available in office. Sites nearest beach are pull-through. We had a pull through under the trees and it was very nice and breezy. Highly recommend and will stay here again.
