This campground is on a one mile very rough gravel road. Once there the park has very narrow roads and would be difficult for a large rig to maneuver if the park was full. We were lucky the park wasn't very crowded. We stayed one night and that was more than enough. If in the area again we would look for something closer to the highway.
A very nice clean camp. We had called ahead for a reservation and was told to pick a site when we got here. Sites are very level, had no problem setting up. Daughter of the owner stopped in to make sure everything was okay and gave us brochures for the area. Only negative was that they charge $1 per day for pets. We would stay here again.
Very nice family owned campground. Owner was not there when we checked in, but a note on the door told us to pick a site, which we did. Lots of green grass and trees. Site was level. Owner checked in on us later in the day. Very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
This park was an oasis in the middle of nowhere! It was very clean, had shade, large sites. Very dog friendly. We were not bothered by the few dogs that ran free, but then we're dog lovers. We stayed here 3 nights and would stay here again. The rate reflects Passport America, and they only take cash or check.
This campground would rate a 10 except for the fact everyone is squeezed in next to each other, the roads were very narrow and backing in some spots took some skill. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, grounds were very neat, pool area excellent.
The 3 nights we camped here, there was a large group of campers. We were placed in the middle of these campers. They had a large dining/meeting area in the spaces behind ours. The rules state the quiet hours are 10 pm til 7 am. Obviously no one abides by these hours. The first night this group quieted down at midnight, the next 2 nights it was 12:30pm. The first morning we were there I went to the office and asked about it and the girl said, "Well, it's a big group and they are repeat campers, but I'll look into it". Nothing was done.
