This was a great park. Getting there you travel over 2 railroad tracks and a narrow road along the river, which was a little narrow but wide enough for our motorhome and still had enough space for bicyclists that passed. We camped in a site overlooking the Potomac River and enjoyed it immensely. Shade trees in Section A runs along the exterior of the park so if you want shade, ask for it The management has recently changed and the park is now much cleaner and more well kept than before. We would definitely camp here again.

We tried to call the office as soon as they opened to make a reservation but the answering machine picked up every time. So we called back all day and left our number (several times). No one ever called back so we just drove up there. As indicated on their message, they close at 6:00 p.m. We arrived at 4:00 and the woman in the office was so very rude and said they close at 4:00. When asked why no one called us back, she said "I've had people in my face all day and just haven't had the time". She said we could pick one of the sites in the envelopes outside and pay in the morning. Not recommending a site for our size or width. So we tried three of the spots, before we found one that was level and we could fit into. We will not return or recommend this campground to anyone.

This park is closed or has changed names and the phone number given has been disconnected. $1.00 is not the nightly rate but had to put something in that field.

We stayed two nights here and wish we had more time. The park was excellent and we had an unobstructed view of the river, which is why the cost was a little higher than normal. The laundry area was very clean and the roads and sites were level and easy to access, If you're a golfer, play Coeur d' Alene Golf Resort. Great play!! Would definitely stay here again.

Very bad experience! We had reserved this campground ahead of time. When we entered the office, the desk was a deep freeze and very poorly kept. The man at the desk told us to go look at some sites, which he indicated on a map and see which one we wanted. So we unhooked our tow and went searching for a site. The dirt roads to the sites were filled with water and mud and the sites were not easy to find at all. 3 out of the 6 sites he said to look at were already used. We picked the most level site we could find but it was too narrow (with pines trees) that we couldn't pull out one of our slides. We would definitely not stay here again.
