This is a great RV park in Memphis. Graceland is right across the street and you can walk to the tour site through an opening in the fence. Don't let the run down area scare you, because the park has 24 hour security and you feel very safe inside. This is our second time staying here and visiting Graceland. The sites are shaded and plenty of grassy areas for dogs. We had a nice pull through site on the end (space 30) and would stay here again!
This is an owner owned RV resort. The website makes it appear very spacious, when actually the sites are very close together with some landscaping between the sites. We were expecting more privacy as we paid for a premium (not riverfront) site and were put next to a site where an owner had a contractor building some outdoor steps at his site. We were afraid we were going to have to listen to construction noise all day, but he ended up being pretty quiet! The staff was not very helpful when asked if they could move us and only offered to refund us our money, so were were stuck staying here. They have a big indoor pool and jacuzzi, fitness room and game room that definitely looks "dated." There are a lot of owners here that give you "the look" as you walk by, but overall it was a pretty location but a bit overrated by their website. I would not stay here again because it's pretty high elevation and the elevation caused our Select Comfort mattress to pop!
We only stayed here 1 night, but this park is nice and sites are level. Mostly gravel and pavement, but they have a nice grassy area for pets on leashes to relieve themselves. The sites have bbq pits and campfires are allowed. I would definitely stay here again!
We only stayed here 1 night and we pulled in late and left early the next morning. This park is great because you are actually parked right in the middle of an orange grove and you can smell the oranges right outside your RV. I have driven by this place and always wanted to stay here, so we made it a resting point for our trip. I would definitely come back and stay again!
This is a great RV park if you are looking for a place near Nashville. They have a Greyline bus service that will pick you up from the park and take you to downtown, although we did not use this service. The pool is large and there is nice new poolside chairs and umbrellas. The doggie play yard could use some updating and lighting at night, but otherwise was nice to let our dog run around in the fenced area. Upgraded sites are further apart, standard sites are close together, but we chose to upgrade to give us space. I would recommend this park and would stay here again!
When I made the reservation I told the girl it was for our family of 5 plus 2 grandparents. We ended up booking a casita where we could park our RV there also. When we arrived, they told us they didn't know we had 7 people and wanted to charge us quite a bit more. Also the site they put us at (casita M24) did not have a proper working sewer, so our RV started to stink! The staff was not willing to work with us on any discounted rate, even when I notified them upon leaving of a HUGE wasp nest located directly on the casita which was right above our RV. We had to dart wasps every time we opened our RV door! They said we should have told them of the problem while we were here, but I did not want them knocking down the nest while we were parked here. If you stay here, make sure that nest is gone! I think we were charged way too much for what we got: $260/night. We booked a 3,100 square foot casita, but then they locked off half of it and only gave us the portion with 1 bedroom because they said we had too many people! Snooty people who I believe are only in the biz for the money, not customer service!
I read every recent comment about this park before making our reservation. All past comments are true. This park is a great place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Does not offer anything for kids, but we were only here for convenience to Downtown Little Rock. Friendly staff, clean restroom/shower area (although did not use) and gorgeous view of river! Not sure why they put a fifth wheel right next to us when there were several other spots available. This blocked our view, but that is our only complaint!
