This is a National Park. It is for primitive camping. No thrills. On a well stocked trout fish creek. Located down the road from Chattahoochee-Oconee National Fish Hatchery, which is educational and fun. It is a great family environment. There are no forms of entertainment other than nature. A great place to fish, camp and hike. Very relaxing, surrounded by great people. Coopers Creek Store has everything you need to fish and the best boiled peanuts in town!

This Park is hardly ever packed. Hostess is very friendly, she stays busy. The restroom and bathhouse is extremely clean, and I am particular about restrooms. There is a creek you can fish from, however most usually go down the road for trout fishing. We like to go here because it is quiet and we get full hook-up, which is not available at the State Park. We used to camp by tent at the State Park, but with the RV it is much easier to go to Skeenah. There is a lot of shade, and kids had room to run as well. The Hostess is always available to help. She really made the stay easy. Campfire wood is sold at the site for very little, which is a big plus it saves on weight when towing, one less thing to bring. The cons, the wifi signal is not always available and isn't strong, however, we are there to fish not surf the net.

The Park was clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Everything was within walking distance. The beach was .3 miles not difficult to take by bike. (Wish we brought ours.) It is walkable, however it's better to drive there. The beach is crowded, but beautiful. I was happy that the park was on a main strip, no other RV park was located on the main strip. It was easy to walk places. Some downfalls is a bar is located near by, and you can hear the music and people if you are close to the pool. The bath house, dumpsters and pool are not centrally located. If you're near one you're far from the other. It's not a Luxury RV Resort, but it does offer many amenities. I had no problems with the WiFi. I enjoyed the RV park's location. It's closer to the beach then a lot of other parks. For the price I felt it was good, and do hope to return. Some things I wish they would improve, is more trash cans through out the park and a more true to location map displayed on their website. It's always best to mapquest area first.
