This is a Good Sam park. Call in advance as they have few spaces. Most are permanent residents. Has a nice pool. People were friendly and helpful. Site was very small but seemed big, as no one was near us. OK for a couple of days. Price is right. Would stop here again.
Had a site with good view of the beautiful lake. People were very friendly and helpful. Area was clean and site was almost level. Can't expect much for $7.50 The area was beautiful even though the fantastic mountains were hard to see because of the smoke from the fires near the area. Would go back. Was cold at night: 29 degrees and this was still summer.
When you are the only game in town, you can charge the most. Pricey for what you get. People were nice and helpful but not always around. There is a laundry across the street. We had shade and the site was level. I would stay here again.
This is the Field of Dreams for golf. Not that they have a championship course but the location is unique. This park and golf course are wonderful. The view of the barley and wheat fields are beautiful. Take a short walk and see the back of the Grand Tetons. The people are nice and the place is quiet and clean. We were going to stay one night but stayed longer. If you come through this area don't miss the place.
Sites are well spaced. No shade. When we were here, there were very few sites taken. There was no grass but lots of cut weeds. Toilet was fairly clean but could have been better. We had expected to be able to see the lake and had expected lots of grass. Wrong. High water plants blocked an view of the water. We were going to stay 4 days but stayed 2 as we had prepaid. Would only stay here again if we could not get in any place else.
We liked this place. It is clean and seems to be well run. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the lack of bathrooms. They are only at one end of the park. Nice dog walk along the river. On the other side of the river is a great bike path. We stayed here for 6 days even though we wanted to get going, but it was fine. No problem with WiFi or TV. Sites are a little close.
Hard to find as it is not mentioned correctly in most travel books. It is in a tiny town of Laketown Utah. It is a big campground. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and found quite a few sites open. The sites are well laid out. Not to close to each other. Lots of people and lots of small kids. It is perfect for young kids with bikes. Although we do not have children, they were not a problem. We expected lots of late noise from the older people but by 10PM the place was quiet. Would stay here again. We liked it.
We stayed here using out Passport America pass. I great place to stay. Everything is clean and neat. Workers are very friendly. Lots of shade with most sites with views of the mountains. We planned on staying a few days but liked it so much we extended out stay. 3 miles south of Moab which made it easy to get to shopping. Strongly recommend this place.
