This is one of the nicer RV parks we have stayed at in the last two months. We happened on it accidentally while looking for someplace close to family members we were visiting. The sites are concrete and level, and our 36' trailer and 26' truck fit in the spot with no problem at all. The staff is very friendly, the park is very clean and well laid out. Close to highway. Trains go by frequently, but we were out most of the time so it wasn't really an issue. The price reflects the Passport America discount. I would definitely stay here again.
Found this campground online and picked our site (the hilltop site) from the map provided online. The site was not what we would consider hilltop by any stretch of the imagination. It just happened to be the first site as you entered the campground which then had a slight slope down to the rest of the campsites. The map depicted the space as secluded, away from a private residence; however, there was also another RV on the other side of us, so we were not secluded in the least. I imagine the online map is outdated. The rest of the park was nice and clean, and office the assistant was helpful. Pricier than most campgrounds around, but if you want to be in the heart of Sedona, this one puts you within walking distance of the touristy areas.
Really enjoyed our stay, although we found out at check-in that they would be closing permanently on 10/1/12. This park is spread out, lots of biking paths and trails, picnic areas by the lake, friendly staff. The restaurant on site however, kind of smelled, and the food wasn't that great. Everything else was good.
Loved this campsite, although the sites were fairly close to one another, but everyone was friendly. Lots to do, as site is right at the beach, and across from Brookgreen Gardens, which is a nice attraction and close to town. Lots of hiking and biking paths. Dump site was easy access and had multiple dumps in lanes. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Absolutely beautiful! Nice, large campsites with plenty of elbow room from neighbors. Lots of hiking and biking paths, swimming area, picnic area, playground. Very clean. Local restaurant, Mason Jar Grille, had great food and friendly staff. Enjoyed the restaurant enough to go back several times on our trip, which is unusual for us. Visited Grandfather's Mountain which is a must see. All-around great trip.
Friendly and helpful staff and the laundry was a definite plus. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it enough that we are making plans to go back. Easy access off freeway and close enough (yet not too close) to restaurants and other facilities.
Very friendly front desk people. It is very close to historic Savannah and the staff was very informative. However, set up is inefficient. Electric at one end and water hook-up at the other, which required a second water hose. The sewer pipe was laying flat on the ground as opposed to upright to set the drain correctly. The site had a tree in middle of entrance making backing in difficult. Site right off of the freeway therefore much noise. Some sites are grass, some gravel, but ours was mud. Glad we only booked one night.
