While pet friendly, the goat head thorns are a problem. Where sites are not gravel there are thorny weed patches. During the fall the weeds dry and release thorns which end up underfoot everywhere (painful for pets). Sites are on a gentle slope. The check in process was smooth and the staff very helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site is ok though our carryout order was overcooked and not quite as appealing as in the restaurant. Not full this time of year so pick of sites. Road noise was not a problem. Wi-Fi was just ok and cable had significant interference on at least one channel. Staff said it was cable company service.
This is convenient when traveling south of Moab. The water was turned off (winter looming) and they still charged full price. We were tired of travel so took it anyway. Wi-Fi was on and off and not dependable and cable was ok. No water at site was an annoyance though understandable. Pet area is fenced, grassy (not goat head thorns) and very clean. There is road noise as the park is lower than the highway and there is night time truck traffic. Not bad with closed windows, but a month earlier we had windows open and it was disruptive. Pull through graveled sites were fairly level so we did not have to unhook.
This is a nice park. The reviews are accurate. Lots of room, good level sites, great shower. The park is clean with well placed trash cans and is nicely laid out for easy access. The check in process was smooth and the staff very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly park with nice areas for walks and room to play. The dog walk is really cute with lots of hydrants. The highway noise was minor and not noticed when we were in the trailer. We would definitely stay here again. Price paid reflects Good Sam discount.
Love this campground. Our favorite out of a dozen stayed in this trip. Tall pines, lots of room at sites. Good Wi-Fi even in the back corner. Very quiet. A few longer stay guests but well kept and not noticeable. Easy access. Well laid out. Wonderful, caring staff who love what they do. Gravel roads well packed, grassy sites are level and very generous size. Very pet friendly with loads of room for good walks and play. We will go back as it felt like home.
No Passport America accepted on weekends. Dogs at shelter barked all night. One poor puppy cried all night, which is even harder to hear. Wanted to go over and rescue it personally. Smelled like sewer outdoors early morning. People drove too fast through grounds with little room between roads and parked RVs. Easy to find from US20. Highway noise moderate and continuous. Friendly staff at check-in. Wi-Fi OK. No cable.
