Stayed here for a few months, rate reflects monthly rate. It does include electric. Staff is great, but campground needs help. Cabins are drab brown, roads need to be better maintained as there are big holes that can require you to have a front end alignment done, Roads are dusty and a lot of shuttles coming through at high rates of speed, Monday through Friday and a few Saturdays there is a motorcycle that leaves around 5:50am that wakes you up. No security to speak of when special events are going on in the town. There are port a potty's in the tent area and the person that cleans them and pumps them out flies through the campground stirring up dust. Because of the dust the AC units pull this into the rigs leaving a film over everything. All traffic causes dust. We will not return. Again the staff was great and did everything that they could do to help. The campground needs to be upgraded badly and it would be a super place.
Rate based on weekly rate and also winter rates. We stayed in 53 which is the river site. Beautiful view, staff was great, we had over paid and they brought it to our attention and reimbursed us right away. We rented the 2 sites that are their river sites; sister brought her class C in and camped with us. Fished the Guadalupe for trout. Had a great time and the service was wonderful. They have a new store and office and it is so much better than before. We will spend more time here next year.
Rate is based on monthly for 31 days as we spent the winter here. Phone and Modem are based on Cable 1 provider here. We found this park by looking at several in the region for spending the winter months. We stumbled on this park and couldn't have been better if it was planned. Staff in the office and the outside workers have been great, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Activities are the best, Owners are putting a lot of time, work and money into the park. We have already made reservations for next winter. Pictures don't do it justice it is beautiful.
Camped here with a rally group of 16 rigs. We were treated like kings. No problems at all. AT&T cell service does not work but who cares. Staff was great, owners were on site and helped anyone with questions. We will definitely go back.
Site was small and cramped; neighbor's awning was 12" from slide. Lots of construction workers staying there. People kept coming through our site for showers, laundry, pool, and generally anywhere they wanted to go. Site was filled with mud after a rain. Wi-Fi didn't work at our site, and we were close to the registration building. One thing that was nice was the meeting room as it was great. Peacock was loud, and goats smelled.
We camped here with a Good Sam Club and had 13 rigs. This was our first time here after staying at another campground in the area. We will not go back to the other one, as this one has spoiled us. Met the owners a year ago and they told of their plans and also that they would hold the prices at the same. They did everything they had promised and more. Great place to relax and visit. We made reservations for next year. Finally someone that knows the meaning of "Customer Service"
We camped here with 3 rigs who were all family. There was activities for the children. Camp staff were extremely friendly from the check in until we checked out. Stayed 2 nights. There was some highway noise and a few mosquitoes but over all they didn't bother us. We had a great time and it let us bond with our children and grandchildren. We will definitely be back.
We had reservations at another park, but the ownership changed hands and the new owner's were rude. We contacted Ripplin Waters Campground and they agreed to let us hold our Good Sam Chapter campout here. The staff and the park could not have been any better. Campgrounds were great. I would like to see them add an enclosed pavilion at some time. I will also be glad when the road construction is finished as it is a little hard to return to I-40. Was it worth it? YES.
This is a very nice campground. It is a work in progress. They have made great progress since last year. Owners live on site and are readily available. They are going to enclose the Pavilion next year. Camped here with a Good Sam's Club and while there we voted to go back next year. I would like for them to add permanent fire rings at each site. If you want a fire they will bring you a portable one. Very nice and quiet.
We camped here with 8 other units and even though the entrance isn't the greatest. I still rated it a 10. The ownership has put a lot of time and money into this campground and it shows. I wish that others could take lessons from the management on Customer Service as it was outstanding. Will we be back? "You Bet".
Camped here a year ago and since then it seems that the campground has gone downhill some. There was a definite problem with the septic system as there was sewage leaking from the field line, and there was an odor when the wind was blowing west to east. The staff was great, and otherwise our club had a great time.
Camped here with local Good Sam's Club for 3 nights, This park continues to impress me. They are upgrading it on a continuing basis. Reason for the 9 was it rained all weekend, not the parks fault. There were 200 scouts camping out in the cave and they did not bother anyone. We will camp here again.
I, too, would rate it a 10 except for the entrance. We were lucky enough not to have traffic in the left lane so that we could swing out a little. Stay was very pleasent. Camped with 9 units from Good Sam's Club.
It is obvious that someone has been spending some money and labor on the campground. We went there a year ago and it was not what we wanted as a place to camp. Our Good Sam's Club went there last weekend and it has undergone a huge transformation. Sites were level, attitudes in office were very helpful. We met the owner over the weekend (didn't know it until today) We will go back and can recommend it highly. Area is beautiful.
Camped here with 2 good Sam's clubs. 3 nights. Campgrounds were neat, clean and well managed. Office staff was great, check-in was quick. Site was level, large, and comfortable. The drag strip that is near runs on Saturday night, but shuts down at 11. This strip gives out 12 scholarships a year to deserving high school seniors, so I can put up with a little noise. We stayed here for a week in Oct., and I will do it again next year.
We camped here with the local Good Sam's club "Sam's Dixie Travelers". It was pouring down when we arrived but from the welcome that we received you would have thought that it was nothing but sunshine outside. The staff were great the site that we had #21 was great and the view was super. While there the club had a vote on the campgrounds that we will go to next year and this one was selected again. Watched the TN vs FL game on cable. The only negative was the WiFi was not strong enough at this site. Took the laptop to the pavilion and it worked great. Watched the gliders sail over the mountains. What a site. They do not charge for WiFi anymore.
Got a senior discount. Restrooms and showers looked clean but need to be updated. You can stay 2 weeks, sites are tight but accessable. You have to watch where you park so that you can use your slideout and awning.
Everything from the check in to the Sausage and pancake breakfast was great. Sites are huge, mountains around you with apple trees for you to pick. Cherohola skyway at your back door with beautiful sites. Trout fishing just a few miles away.
