Having not been in areas where drug stores or supermarkets were available for a few weeks, this campground was just what we needed for two nights in order to replenish supplies. It was hot (100 degrees F) so we appreciated the shady site we had. It is not a large park but we had no problem getting around and into our site. The sites are setup so that two sites share the same long, paved pad, but each with its own, normally situated hookups. They try to put someone in the second site if the first site is going to leave first, or put a trailer that has no problem backing up in the second site. This park is clean but not fancy; a good short stay campground. Friendly staff.

As a previous reviewer said, the only reason we do not give this campground a 10 is the pay wi-fi. The campground is so nice that you would expect that they have free wi-fi. However, that is obviously not a factor for everyone since the campground stays full. Beautiful, long sites with plenty of room between RVs. You can wash your RV or car on your site or use a local service to do it for you. There are no shade sites yet because the campground is only ten years old. They have planted many Lodgepole Pines and they are slow growing due to such a short summer, so it will be awhile before the trees provide a lot of shade. We last stayed here in 1999 and the trees were not drastically smaller than now; gives you an idea of how slow they grow. We learned this little tidbit of knowledge from one of the tours of Yellowstone that pick you up at the campground. We have stayed in hundreds of campgrounds since our 1999 stay here and still have not encountered such a friendly and helpful campground staff. There were five motorhomes in our group and virtually all have the same review of the park. We will all come back.

This is a nice quiet campground. It bills itself as having a Christian atmosphere and discourages open consumption of alcohol. However, there is no overt display of religious symbols or activities that might bother some people. The owners are very friendly and always ready to help. There are some seasonal residents but there are no cluttered and messy sites seen at other parks that have annual and seasonal sites. We stayed here four nights because they have very dark and clear nightime skies; a must for my astrophotography. Unfortunately, it rained each night we were there and I did not get any photos. We would stay with them again and think that we got a lot of value for the campground fee.

Best used as an overnight stay. Could find no other choices in Laramie, so came here by default. However, it is expensive for an overnight campground. A lot of I-80 noise. Has a little grass and a few small trees with roads and gravel sites. Their website claims free wi-fi but it is a pay service at $6.00 for 12 hours, so we used our Verizon aircard. Would not stay again unless we had no choice. We stayed in our motorhome.

Beautiful, wooded park. Very large sites, not stacked as cordwood, as a lot of campgrounds seem to be these days. Attentive and helpful owners and staff. Total quiet. Each site has its own fire ring and wood is available at office. Clean restrooms and showers and plenty of laundry capacity. We will stay here again. We stayed in our motorhome.

Excellent campground, well maintained. The owner/managers put their hearts into the campground and it shows. Beautiful new restrooms and showers. Great views from the campground since it is at the top of Raton Pass. Very quiet even though I-25 is not far away. That is always a big deal for us. Plan to return and to set up our telescope because of the dark skies.
