Rate is based on Passport America. This campground is rough and in bad shape. Restrooms were never cleaned the two days we were there. The roads were so bad going in and out that we had things falling everywhere. The site we were on was not level. I had three tires off the ground. Some of the staff was nice, others made us feel like we were a bother. They wanted to charge me extra for sewer hook up. I do not like to be negative, but we are in a lot of campgrounds across the country and couldn't wait to get out of this on. We will not go back even at half price.
This is the type of place that is true camping, there is not a spot open enough to use our dish, it was very difficult to drive my coach through the camp because of the trees, a lot of trees, and it only had 30 amp sites, nothing with 50 amp, there is no Wi-Fi, but they said they are looking to change that next year.Verizon does not work at the campground at all. The staff was very helpful, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. In the future, I will try to look into a place in which I can use my the dish, if need be.
This is a nice campground. Staff was great, sites were level, good water pressure and power, very well kept. The pool was nice. This campground was also close to places for shopping and Walmart. The price reflects the Pass Port America rate. I will make it a point to stay here again when traveling through.
We have stayed here before but looks like they have let the place go. No picnic tables or anything for the kids to do or play on. No one cleaned the showers or rest rooms all while we were there. They are listed in the Passport America book but did not honor their rate. Staff was not helpful and seamed to be a little out of touch. Ski divers were cool on the weekend. We will avoid staying here again.
Campground appears to have a resort like feel but No Sewer on the sites. Could not find any site that was level and when I did find the sight we stayed the site was hard to level due to jacks sinking (took a lot of work to level). All of the lake front sites are taken by seasonals. Bath house was real old like outhouses that needed to be pumped out, they had no privacy. Electric was strapped to poles and trees. The lake looked dirty. We will avoid this place in the future.
The rate is based on the Passport America. Great place for the price. Management was great. They showed us several sights to choose from, lead us to our sight, and even helped us back into the sight. I am not sure what previous camper meant when they said "pretending to be good Christians". To the contrary, these folks were great! They are doing a good job and saw them working on sights while we were here. The lake was very nice. The rest rooms were OK and could use some updating. They are currently working on making sights better all the time. They could use a little leveling but were OK. I was able to park my coach and my van easily on the sight.
This park is in very rough shape, very difficult to figure out the electric. The electric on our sight was not working at all so I had to cross my power cord over to another one. Most sights were only 30 amp. The place is real run down, bathrooms were very dirty no one around on the weekends the sites were not level at all, had to put the front end of my coach up high. We probably will do our best to find another place when in the area, not worth the 30 bucks.
Rate reflects Passport America. OK for overnight place or fishing place because of the lake. We needed 50amp and they had them but the RV sites were very unorganized and it was difficult to pull into one. Very confusing, we only stayed overnight and happy to move on. If you are going to pull in later in the day or night 50amp would be difficult, best to call ahead of time. It is unlikely we will stay here again.
This park is great; we loved it. Sites are a little tight, but still room. The ocean was very close, maybe 25-50 yards away. There are a lot of activities. Indoor pool for the rainy days, but the outside pool was closed. They even have a coffee shop and church services on Sunday, loved it. They say that there was not a charge for the bikes paddle boats or mini golf, but there was an additional 28.01 Resort Fee. It would be nice if the choice was left to us as to fees. We will look at other campgrounds in the area, but likely to return here again.
I like this place, well kept and clean. Easy access by train to New York City. Staff was great helpful and friendly, sometimes a little confused as to who is where and what spot to camp (someone else may be in the spot they tell you to go to) but will always work it out. We will definitely camp here again.
Keep the speed down!! These folks are right on it and rightfully so for safety. As far as everything else, I am amazed that people can get as much as they do for camping here. It wasn't that great. It says cable but were we were there was no cable, sites we not very level and roadways could have been better kept, the staff was helpful. we will check around before camping there again.
This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. There are a lot of seasonal campers but everything is so well kept. Everything was well groomed and clean, we loved walking the campground and seeing the landscaping of the seasonal sites. The staff was very helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again.
Nice place, a little far to the picnic areas other then that it is Beautiful. Bathrooms were a little dirty when we were there, however that could have been a bad time. For the most part it was very nice, we would camp there again.
Great park, very well taken car of. Clean restrooms and very friendly staff. A lot of nice little things like leading you to your site, making sure you have all the hookups needed. The only thing negative is the sites were very close to each other. I look forward to the next time we go back and stay again.
