Campground has potential but appears to be stuck in a construction/developement stage. Sites are large but mostly sandy. Idle equipment scattered around the campground is an eyesore. Reception was friendly and professional. Appears to be primarily a seasonal campground with a few overnighter sites.

We found a GEM in the woods! This "Adults Only" campground, (no children), may not be for everyone but if you're looking for tranquial, relaxing surroundings this is it. The campground is well maintained with pride. Reception was sincere and professional. Campground is "security gated" and is situated on a peaceful tidal estuary. 20/30/50amp W/E/S/C service and is "Big Rig" friendly. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were immaculate all weekend long, day and night. Plenty of activities in the area. No pool but ocean beaches nearby. We will definitely return.

Good "Stop-and-Go" overnighter but not a destination campground. Arrival reception was very friendly, easy and pleasant. Campground is maintained and tidy. Very clean restrooms. Maintained pool area and childrens playground a plus. If you ask, you can usually choose from a selection of sites. Most pull-thru sites have 30/50 amp service but are not entirely level. This was our second visit and will return when passing through the Spartanburg/Greenville area.

Very well maintained, clean and tidy campground. Easy in and easy out. Arrival reception very pleasant and friendly. Good level big rig pull-thru sites with 50 amp service and green grass. The campground is more of an "overnighter", not really a destination campground. Gigantic ajoining flea market on the weekends. Very clean restroom and laundry facilities. You are given a restroom door code to unlock the facilities when you check in. This was our second visit and we will return.

Not a "Resort" as advertised but a good "Stop-and-Go" overnighter. Not a destination campground. This was our second visit. Arrival reception has always been pleasant and friendly. All campground facilities were organized, clean and tidy. Very clean pool and sunning area. Our pull-thru site #132 with 50 amp service was level and large enough for our 38' motorhome with no problems. The frequent train whistles may be annoying to some but we find it to be a novelty. We will return.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Our first impression...WOW! Disappointment soon soured our enthusiasm. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. No escort service to your site. We were assigned site #114...50 amp, large level concrete pad/driveway, plenty of green grass. When we finished setting up we decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at their on-site restaurant, "Gnome Cafe". We discovered that the restaurant closed early at 2:00 PM for a private party. We then decided to go for a swim in their large indoor pool facility...Sorry, closed. The large Arcade above their store was chained off, and you guessed it, closed. When I questioned an office member the response was, "people usually leave on Sunday so most things are closed up early". I told the office member that our campground fee should also include use of the campground amenities. Another irk was the screaming engine noise from a nearby Drag Strip and the far away thumping drone sound of a stone quarry. We won't return.

Older KOA campground. Arrival reception was pleasant and friendly. Escort service to your site by personable staff member. Our pull-thru site with 50 amp was level but sites are very close together. Older type bathroom/laundry facilities but were always clean and tidy. Pool water looked green and in need of attention. Not really a destination campground but good as an over-nighter.

Beautiful RV Resort... Spotless, relaxing environment that exceeded all of our expectations. Sites are uniquely different and are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and trees. Flowers everywhere. Sites are privately owned and most owners rent out their lots while they're away. There are three categories of sites: Forest, Clubhouse and Lakefront lots. All sites are spacious and have stamped concrete pads/driveways. Arrival reception was refreshingly professional, sincere and friendly. Staff member gave us a golf cart tour of the Resort and escort service to our selected site. We had our choice of 20+ sites that were available during our stay. Note: Only a few sites are satellite friendly. Excellent digital cable TV reception. Very pet friendly. Spectacular paved bicycle paths all over this wonderful Island for great day trip adventures. Only negative was some ongoing site upgrading/construction that would occasionally disrupt this tranquil oasis, otherwise it woud've been a solid 10 rating.
