We just stayed at this campground and were happy with it. Close to town which is a plus for us because have friends who live there. We stayed on the west side campground which had plenty of shade. The campsite was a little on the small side but we squeezed in there. I would have gave a better rating but the water has tremendous amount of iron in it which they told us it was safe. Bring a lot of bottled water with you if you stay here.
This was our first time we stayed here and probably will not return. The owners are constantly hounding you about the rules. She told us about the speed limit at 5 mph and when you see her on her golf cart she exceeding that. Heck even the hay wagon was going faster than that. When I checked in she told me I had to leave at 12 noon because someone was renting the site...they down make you feel welcome. The park was clean and well kept up though.
We thought it would be a good idea to check this campground out before we reserved a site and I'm glad we did just that. This is a older campground which could use a lot of updating. Yes, it looks and sounds great for the younger families with smaller trailers but that's about it. The roads are dirt so when it rains it gets mucky. They were working on the campgrounds and I do admit that when we visited it was there first day after a ruff winter. Also, there was a faint smell of cow manure in the air.
We stayed here for Labor Day weekend and the internet was down for the weekend we were there. I guess they ordered a part two weeks ago. The pinball machines weren't working and the campground will not refund your lost money. The roads are all gravel and dusty. It is on a busy road with road noise.
This was a well kept up campground...the workers that run the place are very helpful about the local area. Lots of shade. The only bad I can see about this place is poor reception on the TV and the water pressure is a little weak. I would most definitely stay again. We stayed here for eight nights.
Nice park but you'll need leveling blocks here. The playgrounds needs updating...the swimming pool is average and most of the sites are small with alot of fireplace ashes mixed in with the dirt. would I stay here again?...probably not
This is a good campground but quite aways from Gatliburg. Overall it's a good value for the money. I would have said it's a great campground but like all the other campgrounds that are along Highway 321 the road noise is terrible and all the locals need a new muffler
